I will agree that IF Toki wasn't sick he COULD have gone on to beat Raoh, Hyoh, etc. However, Toki IS sick, and IS in fact beaten by pre-MT Raoh. For that reason, I couldn't see him being anywhere better than 9 or 10. Hence why it was so hard for Raoh to learn it. Toki was a very loving compassionate person. He definitely should’ve and would’ve learned it earlier if he was in kens position and in his prime

Thank you so much for the comment! I had that same frustration when I searched and that's how I decided to make my own. I made this video after reading the manga but I've since watched the entire show and I think the list holds. However, I think KenOh may beat Hyoh because at the time I didn't remember how Kenshiro had said that Raoh had used some of his chi to revive Yuria and that he may have lost otherwise.
@@brothersofwrath4785 Yeah that's true the main thing holding him back was his desire to not fight Shin but Kenshiro was definitely weaker before the start of the manga. Kenshiro grew in strength to the point where he could match and defeat Raoh which he definitely would not have been able to do at the time Shin inflicted his scars.
Although in their second fight, Shin was already defeated in his mind due to the loss of Yuria. Of course, by that time, Kenshiro had already surpassed him, but in their first meeting I believe they could have been quite close even if Kenshiro had been more into the fight.
Remember when shaki was carrying unconscious body in the sewers and kaioh tried to stop but his own battling aura was so powerful that kaioh had to flee the sewers and his evil aura tried to hide inside his armour and that was happening when Ken was still unconscious and also in the end he still fought with him without the aura but with his skills.

Sensational Video! If you took the Old Sensai out of the picture Kenshiro certainly can best them all. However, the wisdom, experience, purity, and absorption of energy the old man has acquired would eliminate Kenshiro effortlessly.
I hear you. Ryuken was the most difficult to rank. But Koryu, said to be his equal, was handled easily by pre-musou-tensei Raoh. Also by his own admission he had never mastered musou Tensei himself. Though his 7star heart point technique seems to do something similar. Only reason he is behind Souther is because Souther is perfectly designed to counter Hokuto Shinken.
Love video man, can u do a Nanto ranking video next? (btw I'm a big hokuto No Ken fan I have a tattoo of Rei & Kenshiro on my back doing the infamous dragon vs tiger pose, still gotta get the rest complete tho going to put Toki & Raoh on my lower back next)
Personally and honestly, I didn't like it too much. I think it definitely got better as it went on but it takes too long. Kenshiro Kasumi basically starts out stronger than anyone else in the series and never loses. He has even less character development than FotNS Kenshiro. That being said, there are some very funny and goofy moments. I also enjoyed learning more lore and the climax is pretty epic. Be aware that the Regenesis show is an original story.
Toki should have been either number 1 or number 2 for the simple fact prime was said in the beginning of the video. Toki before he got sick was the successor to hokuto shinken, roah even said during his fight with sick toki that toki wouldn't have been sick he would not be able to beat him. Furthermore he knew thouser's secret before kenshiro did and if kenshiro would have failed killing thouser he would have done it himself, and this is sick Toki were talking about not the healthy one. So toki in his prime didnt get sick he would just got stronger and stronger and I do believe he would have mastered musou tensai with ease. Simply put your list is incorrect.
Toki was in his prime long before the story begins. If you project him out as if he never got sick then you're probably right about him being very near the top after achieving musou tensei and going on to defeat Kaioh some day. However, this is not the case. In his prime, he was roughly equal to Raoh at a time when Raoh didn't even have musou tensei or any of the events of "Legends of the Dark King" or the main series that made him #3 on my list (no aura, no musou tensei, no hunting down dozens of renowned martial artists, etc.). On the other hand, you do make a very good point about Souther. In a one-on-one battle Toki would likely win. But that's because he somehow already knew about Souther's body (which probably happened from a previous encounter that we never get to see). But against any of the other Hokuto users on this list (anyone but Falco), Souther has a much better shot than Toki because of the mystery of his body combined with how underhanded and mischievous he's willing to be.
Very True there are a alot of ifs but you said yourself ryukin produced the strongest practitioners of hokuto shinken so why is kenshiro kenshiro kasumi on this list? By your own logic of toki's prime being before the story fist of the northstar story then kasumi shouldn't even on this list at all, because his story takes place before fist of the north star even happened hence the name fist of the blue sky which is not fist of the north star. But since kasumi is on the list then toki should be too because he was the successor of hokuto shinken before kenshiro. Nice debate so far.
@@coriwimmer9847 Very fair point about what I said about Ryulen training the best then turning around and putting Kasumi so high on the list. That was something I should have addressed better. It's difficult to rank Blue Sky characters since there aren't really common characters besides Ryuken and Jukei as kids. But Kenshiro Kasumi is where he is on the list for one important reason: Musou Tensei.
@@samuelheaton3122 I understand that. But musou tensai shouldn't be a factor in putting a character that's not in fist of the north star, and as I said earlier if kasumi is on this list so should toki. And ryuken produced the 3 strongest on practitioners of hokuto shinken then that means toki, roah, and kenshiro are all stronger than kasumi. There should be no way that kasumi's opponents from fist of the blue sky were even at the same level of fist of the north star opponents, because toki, roah, kenshiro, were the strongest users to ever exist and even roah would have issues fighting thouser but sick toki could more than likely kill thouser, so therefore prime toki without sickness the true successor to hokuto shinken which meant in the beginning he was the strongest, and should be on this list and he would stronger than ryuken and kasumi atleast.
@@coriwimmer9847 It is said that nobody got the Musou Tensei in 2000 years of Hokuto history, which mean that he wasn't aware that Kenshiro Kasumi did it. The reason why is not said, is because Kenshiro Kasumi dies before teaching it, admitting that this is possible to teach it. It is not something technical. So maybe the carchters should be compared just from the point of view of the basic Kung Fu. And Ryuken beats Jukei just using the basic skill. Furthermore, in terms of pure Kung Fu, Toki is the TOP 1.
Maybe a serious Juza would enter in this list, that guy was unpredictable and kind of a joker. But the skills were all there. Even Roah and his horse paid a tribute to this crazy character.
I honestly wouldn't mind an anime series that focuses on the Nanto users. Seeing the sheer power of hokuto and it's variants really makes me want to see if Nanto can truly rival its "rival".
Very good pick, putting Hyo that far up there. People just watch him get absolutely creamed by Kenshiro, thinking hes weak, but his Anryū Tenha would have destroyed pretty much everybody else in the series.

Ken admitted Raoh was the strongest and could win, he lost because he saved Julia and not completed final MT form. I can't imagine if he got complete MT form.
The statement about raoh being able to beat all 3 rashos was a myth made up by Kaioh. kenshiro only said that because he is modest and rarely praises his power( he even said that kaioh would have won the second fight if he had been taught hokuto shinken by Ryuken)
its amazing how so many people didnt understood the meaning behind that final battle between Kenshiro and Raoh... Raoh could have beaten kenshiro, but his touki was weakened and kenshiro realized that by the end of the fight. The reason for that is that he used it to give a few more years to Yuria

A lot of people agree with you. I answer that in one of these comments. But basically Toki and a lot of season 1 characters are a victim of power-creeping. And Toki never got Musou Tensei
Overall the ranking makes sense to me, although I would have probably left out the guy from Fist of the Blue Sky and replaced him with healthy Toki, who may have challenged Raoh's 4th place, although I don't think he was ever close to the level of the top two generals (perhaps he might have eventually reached that level IF he had survived the illness and fighting in a weakened state, but at that point it would be pure speculation).
@@lewisaino Nah Souther because of childhood trauma and wanting their school to surpass Hokuto Shinken. Although, he probably is as mad as Jagi because Jukei _really_ fucked him up mentally something fierce. But because of that you really feel for how twisted he became.

This is not from the original anime. This scene is from the Legends of the Dark King series about Raoh. There is some controversy about what is considered Canon. But for this list I considered it Canon because they don't add any unreasonable feats but do provide some context to help with analysis.
I did a list some time ago with almost 100 characters from the show. My top Ten: 1. Kenshiro 2. Kaioh 3. Raoh 4. Toki 5. Souther 6. Hyoh 7. Falco 8. Han 9. Ryuken 10. I think 10 is Rei, 9 is Han, 8 is Falco, 7 is Shin, 6 is Toki, 5 is Souther, 4 is Hyoh, 3 is Roah, 2, is Kaioh, 1 is Kenshiro. Because of who is hyped up by Manga, Japanese Anime in general.
Han is stronger than Souther & Falco beyond doubt. Kenshiro skill only get better as the series go so there is no way Han was at the bottom of the list

While i overall agree with the list, I slightly disagree with your analysis of Raoh. Raoh had used up all of his energy during the final strike, so by the timehe hit his seikatsku points, he was already out of steam. Thats why Ken doesn't dodge. He knew the punch didn't have any strength behind it. We'll never truly know Raoh's strength due to the fact that he gave some of his energy to Yuria. I believe that Raoh and Hyoh are the two closest ones on this list. We've seen from Kenshiro vs Kaioh that in the first encounter between Musou Tensei and Anryu Tenha, the latter wins. To your credit though, I think that if Raoh was alive during the events of the Shura arc that he probably would be stronger. But again, he'd lose the first battle because that's just the dynamics between Musou Tensei and Anryu Tenha.

How so? Do you think he's stronger than Hyoh and/or Kaioh? Had Raoh been alive at the time of HnK2 he may have been number 3. He was approximately equal to Kenshiro in HnK1. However, since then Kenshiro has fought and/or learned from Solia, Falco, Han, Kuroyasha, and even Kaioh. Yet, there was by no means a clear winner between him and Hyoh. @@mcbdllc136 No, he mastered musou tensei against Raoh. It simply didn't work against Kaioh's anryu tenha because it warped space around Kenshiro. Only the Hokuto source could beat Kaioh.
I dunno... I think the three generals are seriously overrated. First of all, Han was a mosquito. He effectively lived on an island of constant fighting, and Kenshiro comes back after a five year honeymoon and beats him down. Hyoh was all over the place. Maybe as powerful as Raoh, but never really seemed in control of his stuff. And Kenshiro never really seemed to be into fighting him, once he met him. Kaioh was a complete loser. More like Jagi than Raoh. Used a crossbow on the pirate, and pretended that Kenshiro killed his sister to make Hyoh mad. Had a few party tricks, and a lake of goop where he got his lame-o energy. Kenshiro's mistake was trying to use a trick when he first met him (that invisible thing). Raoh would have simply beaten him down, and if Kaioh tried to use tricks, Raoh would have seen them, anticipated them, avoided them, learned them, and then beaten him some more. Raoh was afraid of Kenshiro because Kenshiro exhibited his sorrow and wore it on his sleeve, and, also, in his eyes. All Kaioh did was bury his pain and turn it into rage. Roah would have buried him. Maybe I am conflating "crappy character traits" with power levels... hell I probably am. Maybe I am just ticked because I nearly finished HnK2 now and since Kaioh's backstory is so awful and unsympathetic, it actually damages the sympathy that other characters like Souther and Yuda engendered (which is part of the genius of the series.) At least it increases my empathy for Raoh, because if his life's goal was to just go and beat the crap out of Kaioh, well then... sign me up for team Raoh. Dammit why did they even make HnK2? Is the manga any better? Coz the anime sucks.
Well, Han was there since Kenshiro left the island, so actually more than five years, but yet hnk2 is still worse. Hyou is all over the place, he was the most compassionate of the 3 generals, he can also use Anryu Hiha, but only a weak version, he’s definitely stronger than Han, and would be able to match up towards Kenshiro / Raoh, since Anryu Hiha counters musou tensei though, that is what would make him a bigger fight than most, Hyou never had as much compassion and pacifism as Kenshiro. Kenshiro said he would fight him even if he was his brother, so it’s likely Kenshiro held back. Kaioh is knda any average villain but more complicated, he’s similar, and I mean, basically the EXACT SAME as Souther’s story, with a character who has more attachment, he’s souther, but as if more hellbent on his goal.

I made this video after reading the manga but I've since watched the entire show and I think the list holds. However, I think KenOh may beat Hyoh because at the time I didn't remember how Kenshiro had said that Raoh had used some of his chi to revive Yuria and that he may have lost otherwise.
Kenshiro didn't want to fight Shin thats why he lost in the first place
Yep they were still friends in his mind during that match while Shin was being a narcissist taking advantage of Ken's emotions
Kenshiro wasn't as serious during the first fight that's true, but Kenshiro *was* weaker then too.
@@Priceluked shin did not berate kenshiro being phyisically weak but in heart

Is fist of the blue sky worth reading? How does it compare to fist of the north star?
Personally and honestly, I didn't like it too much. I think it definitely got better as it went on but it takes too long. Kenshiro Kasumi basically starts out stronger than anyone else in the series and never loses. He has even less character development than FotNS Kenshiro. That being said, there are some very funny and goofy moments. I also enjoyed learning more lore and the climax is pretty epic.
Be aware that the Regenesis show is an original story.
Some chapters are worth, also if you want to know origin of hokuto.
@@aditghifari5039 Ive read it and pretty much feel the same way as Samuel
it is good and the fights are fun
Furthermore, in terms of pure Kung Fu, Toki is the TOP 1.

its amazing how so many people didnt understood the meaning behind that final battle between Kenshiro and Raoh... Raoh could have beaten kenshiro, but his touki was weakened and kenshiro realized that by the end of the fight. The reason for that is that he used it to give a few more years to Yuria

To be fair kenshiro didn't master Muso Tensei until he unlocked the seal of hokuto but he learned how to counter anryu tenha by spinning his sprit energy fast around himself

Sorry for not being clear on the Han thing... I meant that, despite Kenshiro's hard training and numerous battles, he had taken a break for the last 5 years. Yeah, Han was in UFC forever. :)
Honestly the Hyou scenes, I kept skipping, or at least not paying attention. I wish they would have explained the whole "not killing brother" thing a bit better... is that some Japanese supreme bad luck thing? Because otherwise it was seriously not compelling at all.
I think the thing about Kaioh was he was like that kid from The Tick who just kept calling himself 'evil.' Souther's backstory (I agree it's really similar) was just a hard-hitting surprise, and I was surprised how sympathetic I was with him... but for Kaioh... I was like, been there, done that.
And what the hell was up with the "promise to Roah" thing? Such crap. We are supposed to believe Raoh congratulated Ken on his succession, and then said he had a bunch of stuff to do, and then HnK happened? Awful.
BTW Kaioh was also an amateur because he "didn't know" when Lin would wake up from the Roofi-poke. Yeah well, Raoh would have been able to tell you down to the minute!

You're kidding me right? Raoh in 4th place?
Here's the top strongest 3 in Hokuto No Ken:
3- Toki
2- Kenshiro
1- Raoh
Shin would not be considered within the top 10 according to Buronson's Hokuto no Ken: Kyūkyoku Kaisetsusho: Seikimatsu Haō Retsuden article in which the Highest Ranking Fighters would go accordingly:
1. Toki (hypothetically without Illness)
2. Kenshiro/Ryuken (Young)
3. Raoh
4. Kaioh
5. Ryuuken (Old)
6. Hyoh
7.Falco
8.Souther
9. Han
10. Koryu
*Young Koryu hypothetically could've be stronger than a Healthy Toki but is largely a variable since his strength throughout the battle with Raoh was withered away from not using his fist*
Kaioh is way stronger than Raoh, young ryuken has never shown any feats besides beating junkei. Falco is super overrated, he could not win against han or thouzer.
I have this on DVD
Where can i see al the movies and videos
Koryu might've had a more power fist (similar to Raoh's style) but that doesnt mean he was better skilled than Ryuken.
he won nofap
Hyoh above Raoh ?????? Nah you wildin fam there's no way !
What about toki
everybody likes jukei
jukei=clint eastwood
Souther phoenix arizona can kill Ken in thier 1st meet
I believe that Souther is above Han and Falco.
You think so? I'd love to put him higher but I just don't think any HnK1 characters are going to cut it because of the power creep.
