Supplementary info/LN changes
Not much was changed other than the in-media res prologue was pushed from episode 1 to this one, Rain wanting Kazuma to treat her more casually, since she isn’t from a big noble family like Darkness’s or Claire’s, Claire was still wearing her white suit and doing paperwork, and slightly less Iris (it would’ve been an entire episode showing their interactions.) One of my personal favorite characters, is Rain, despite her being a minor character with low screentime (her VA is Reina Ueda, which is funny that their names are similar.) 5:16 - In KonoBakuen (LN), Rex was headed to here and asked Megumin to join his Party, so he’s likely helping Claire out. 5:25 - She’s already being taught stuff, the school suggestion is explicitly so she can learn/play with other children.
7:43 - Black Butler reference. 10:53 - Not technically, she is princess Iris Belzerg of the Belzerg Kingdom. 17:04 - He was more selfish in the LN, (similar to what he said in LN 3/S2) where he doesn’t have interest in Darkness, but he also doesn’t want her to be with a guy, since she’s in his Party, which is tied to his backstory/PTSD that I mentioned on S3E1 (the leaked version.)

Claire is just K.O. after the intro with how may times she tries to stop Kazuma telling Iris stories. She only gets up as soon as an attack happens on the kingdom XD
