In this particular scene they depicted a person who thinks a air hostess should be hot and not some "ugly aunties" as that person calls them which is objectifying. This scene would have been beneficial for the movie in two ways- 1) It justifies what Kabir's ideas and beliefs regarding respecting women are no matter how he behaves in real life due to his uncontrollable anger. It also suggests that he has relatively no control over his actions and would say or do anything even if he doesn't believe in them. Be it love or anger, beating someone up or calling a girl teddy bear he does it impulsively without giving in much of a thought! 2) Shiva's hasty approach towards getting his sister married would've also been justified... This scene clearly suggests how impulsive his actions are and why he was even willing to make his sister marry Kabir... Many critics and audiences had a problem with that and it was a character trait of Shiva which wasn't well explored.

I watched an interview where director mentioned that he had to delete almost 12 minutes of scenes (which includes this scene) because producers wanted a shorter movie...
I think the reason this scene was removed was because in the actual film he kind of said that ( I don't remember the exact dialogue, which was said in the class) : ' pretty girls should be friends with fat chicks as they are more loyal ' which is a form of body-shaming.. Now this scene would actually depict Kabir as a hypocrite, hence they removed it so that the dialogues stay true to the character of Kabir.😃 This scene was grt though 😁👌

I think the reason this scene was removed was because in the actual film he kind of said that ( I don't remember the exact dialogue, which was said in the class) : ' pretty girls should be friends with fat chicks as they are more loyal ' which is a form of body-shaming.. Now this scene would actually depict Kabir as a hypocrite, hence they removed it so that the dialogues stay true to the character of Kabir.😃
