Saturday was wild, I went home early.
The Florida Classic is the annual college football rivalry game between Bethune-Cookman University and Florida A&M University. This is video of the cars that show up for the events that weekend.
I’d never do this to my cars, but I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen! A+ for creativity

It already sounds like an ice cream truck rolling down the streets when I hear someone blasting what passes as rap these days. Now, Country music? This was in my neighborhood and a lot of these drivers were being super disrespectful on the road. Other people got work and shit and they were being both dangerous and in the way of shit. Have fun but let me do my thing too. Saw this poor old man on the road getting super uncomfortable, clearly just trying to go home and folks were weaving all around him and shit.

At a certain point, the wheels get to be too much. They've got half of these vehicles looking like stagecoaches. Each to their own, though. The paint jobs and interiors are great. The chrome-metallic paint is awesome.
I think this was the best classic I participated in, in a very long time. Good people Good vibes.

Well yea, Florida is home of the most retired folks with existing pensions on earth so folks are well off. Then factor in the fact that Florida is also a drug dealers & Sex workers dream haven so folks who are gonna get paid regardless of a pandemic so a lot of people here have $ to blow compared to others states/ countries even. The money don't stop in florida, and even people who technically don't have it to be splurging will "fake it till u make it".

I remember when Spring Break and Florida weekends were fun and there were no mass brawls and people getting shot. Just college kids getting drunk and having fun. Now, well let’s just say the clientele has changed. Just look at the ridiculous cars. The college kids have moved on to somewhere they won’t get shot and robbed. The towns and cops should just shut this down. The residents don’t want it. Shame.
