I use to get angry or insecure but since I mastered the ART of being unbothered I don't notice the stares anymore...wallahi it's like they disappeared! Sis whatever we give attention to GROWS....when people stare at us we shouldn't stare back....instead we should focus on being in the moment and enjoying whatever we are doing. By staring back you are giving them your precious Energy. Be a SIGMA Female....ignore their whole world and build your OWN. I Believe in you. May Allah continnue to BLESS YOU.

I 100% agree!! Only thing i missed was the halal restos that ARENT about the fastfood. I was craving a decent halal resto-spot for me and my kiddo. But the fish and veggie options were enough. And omg the PASTAIS DE NATA ❤

How they dress or how their hair looks, no negativity. Also i think its so normal to watch people passing by, so it does not necesserily mean they look at you because you are a hijabi. ❤ Have a nice upcoming week!
I like to do that too but I don’t break my neck to STARE and follow with my eyes to the point you’re made to feel uncomfortable. Everyone’s entitled to feel how they feel and to express that also.

I newly reverted and indeed that was one of the things I noticed when I started wearing hijab, to the locals it's like you're this whole new thing in town that they've never dreamed of seeing. 😂 I've been to Lisbon a few times and that was where I was first greeted by a muslim sister. 🩷 Bigger cities' residents are definitely more used to seeing hijabis than in other villages/cities in Portugal.

Last year I took a flight from Milan to Jeddah. I wouldn’t do it again for such a long distance, the seats are very uncomfortable. However, turbulence wise it was very decent.

You went to a very touristy area full of Brits nothing wrong with that, had you gone somewhere else u would have more fun possibly more halal options ,there is actually a mosque in Albufeira , Cascais lisbon are bigger cities people definitely not stare at you !!! The funny thing with Algarve probably the people that were staring at you were tourists coz algarve is full of it 😂
