Another wonderful lesson, Marcus. What has helped me tremendously is the feeling that I’m shifting my weight toward the target more than I need. On camera I’m not, but I sure feel like I am, and when I do I strike the ball extremely well, and if I don’t have that feeling, my strikes are a little behind the ball. Also, I had to develop a “trigger move” at setup to start my swing and I only think of swinging the club. I never think of hitting the ball. Each time I think of “hitting the ball” my contact suffers. Keep up the excellent work. Cheers.
Solid! This is the game changer for low point and consistent ball contact and flight direction. I have been following this low lead shoulder before but this explains it so much clearer to me!
Marcus, watched a lot of your videos. Quick question, when say, setting up for a draw, is the lead shoulder, lead hip aligned parallel to the path or do they stay more centered at address? You talk about moving around the arc to keep a proper relationship to the ball position, so I think I know your answer...
You have to have a grf board to feel the movements. Then and only then you can apply the fine art to the game and learn how to use the feet movements to spiral up and down to swing the clubhead. Its all there in his videos but I believe you need the board; understand what you are doing, and then you can take it to a higher level. I had 2 lessons within 2 weeks and swung the club like a neanderthal but now it is a thing of beauty; and with every session it is even more beautiful. Marcus and the team are on a different level. He knows that most swings are a product of the golfers understanding but he gives you the building blocks to change things from the ground up and then it is up to you to elevate your understanding of the process through his videos. I cannot thank marcus and the team enough they have changed my life. I have just been fitted for a new set of clubs woods and irons so the beautiful swing will be working more efficiently.
Really like this, like throwing a 10 pound sack of flour over your trail shoulder to get into a strong delivery position. Again, giving the player all the time in the world to settle a bit and then smash it. A little Hideki move...nice...
Virtually impossible to say without 1-2-1 but you can stand slightly we wider with your right leg to drop your right hip but you'll need good foot/ankle/hip function in the swing.
Marcus I have had my GRF SYSTEM for about 6 mos n ball striking has really improved. What I can’t get is a draw off the tee especially with the driver. I mostly push it right or sometimes pull across. Any suggestions?
I was pushing it right until I focused on really closing the face through impact. What felt extreme really isn't when you see how quick the pro's close it! Watch a slow-mo vid to get an idea. Worked for me!!
@@jimshigster5540 you can try making your bottom hand weaker or having the face a couple of degrees closed at address (making sure it’s not just a twist but an actual regrip to naturally have the face a couple of deg closed at address). One of these should work
If only we could remember all of this in the short time it takes for that club to go back and come come down again. So much going on in the swing. Lol. Great video Marcus
The body always remembers, Richard! It's our monkey brain that's in the way. Let the exercises serve only as exercises and try not to let them become swing thoughts for the actual golf shot. Hope you're well!
Realising this is a work in progress for the student probably on a medium high h/cap but would have liked more attention paid to his obvious height changes. Going back he stands up quite a lot and then bobs down to then stand up again. Would like to see him come down during backswing - start to redistribute centre of momentum forwards - then push up during downswing. By pushing down from the top you run out of time to push up before impact. In other words, if you've come down during backswing then you can more easily and less rushed, push up on d/swing.
This may sound negative, but its just an observation and not intended to be neg, but this guys swing really looks terrible... LOL... its all arms, breaking down in a big way, getting way behind him.. I'm surprised he's doing as well as he is to be honest. Maybe its just a testament to Marcus' methods?? (shrug)
Thanks and you're not being negative. I really welcome opinions and comments of all types. Have you ever seen Eamonn Darcy, Jeev Milkha Singh, Ray Floyd, obvs Jim Furyk etc etc. It's the function not the form we're working with. Everyone has their own style but we've been conditioned to judge expected performance on aesthetics labelled as 'technical coaching' with 'technical preferences'. Heard so many coaches talk about their 'preferences' in seminars. The common denominators of swing positions are that there aren't any. Similar movements may happen but they're a feature of functional movement. That's a very different way of coaching.

I’m going to try all of this out. Could be a game changer!

Brilliant excellent teacher and professional

You can make a very similar movement by stepping forward slightly as you shift ala Dr. Kwon
Nicely done. At 75 this does work well for me…new subscriber
Simply brilliant!
Exceedingly

Amazing how different the sound of the ball strike and flight when it's struck properly
I know, not many sounds much sweeter either!
My right leg and hip is higher than my left. Any advice on how i can overcome that in my swing? I play right handed

Do you ship the GRF board to the USA?
👍
@@GRFGolf Can you provide the link to me? Thanks!

I can’t believe no one shanked it on the wooden post yet. This is scary 😀
Maybe we should all play with a wooden post next to us 😂

@@GRFGolf I’m really good thank you, this latest procedure has worked really well. Just need to get out and practice now short game is horrific lil
