Hi All, I've just noticed that Your Driver is Waiting was published on March 2, 2023 so it doesn't qualify 😥 I officially replace it with Fayne which does 😄 and was one my best books of 2023 (you can check out that video to find out more about it).
I found your channel through Scott’s and am so pleased I did! I greatly enjoy these prediction videos. It’s so fun seeing the different novels on everyone’s radar. Lovely meeting Granola as well 😊
Your Driver is Waiting is one I haven't seen on any of the other lists and I think that is good! I've been enjoying all the prediction videos and my favorite part is hearing about a book I had never heard of before. Thanks for sharing your predictions and showing us your adorable doggie!
A Canadian book I know you loved and didn't realise it was eligible until Gemma put it in one of her videos is Fayne. Some books I really loved from this list.
So excited to watch another WP predictions video! 🥳 I haven't heard of The Sleeping Car Porter, but it sounds fascinating. I may have to check that one out. I would love to see The Vaster Wilds nominated. It was one of my favorite reads of 2023. 🥰
I don't know about Chekov, I've never read any of his plays, but Tom Lake has massive links to the play Our Town by Thornton Wilder, and I recommend reading that first. It's not needed, it just makes the reading experience better. I have a five book prediction overlap with you, but I considered most of your picks.
We have 4 predictions in common so at least one of us is gonna do terribly here, ha. I have a gut feeling about Land of Milk and Honey being there (based on nothing but my... well... gut). I've added Penance by Eliza Clark to my predictions, but it's really more of a wishlist one and I'm doubtful about seeing it. I believe Alphabetical Diaries is non-fiction, so we might need another one from you!

Amazing - thanks for being here. Scott is such a fantastic booktuber - I am always in awe of his content.
Can’t wait for this list!
I’m looking forward to the longlist too. 😊
Counting down the days, hours, minutes. The wait is torture. 😅

Aw...thanks for watching and your kind words. Your Driver is Waiting wasn't actually eligible - hoops!
Cliffhanger! I was waiting for Nola’s predictions.

I can't wait to see what makes it! 😁 I enjoyed Night Bloom.

Oh! You're so right - I didn't even realize it was eligible! Gosh - wouldn't that be amazing if it was on the list?!
Great list, Jess! I am so glad you decided to throw your hat in the ring 😂
haha - so glad you enjoyed my predictions. I need to go and watch your reaction video so I can see how you did!

@@stalkingkafka That's awesome! I hope you enjoy it. ☺
I’m rooting for Rachel Incident. It’s fresh and relatable and a binge-read.
I loved it!

Oh - that's so interesting. That would be a really cool reading vlog project - I am taking notes!
