The autotuned vocals are obviously an artistic choice; I didn't "need" to do it (check out the album version for example, it's the same vocal recording). I just wanted to pay homage to some of the Japanese bands we love that use that effect in a creative way, such as FACT. It helps to distinguish my lead vocals from the backing vocals, and honestly I think it sounds cool - S*
I agree, The world is full of artists that require Autotune to be successful in the music industry . You are not one of them, you are using it as I belive it should be used - for creative effect, and I have no problem with that. It's the one thing I hate... People who refuse to like something because it has Autotune, even if it's only used for artistic effect... Unfortunately, 2 of them are my brothers. I really like this version. The levels seem much more consistent and the auto tune definitely helps colour the track and I love the glitchey effects in the video :)

Area 11 is my inspiration. I love all of them. This should be more popular than anything other artists do, but thats one of the reasons I love them so much. They dont care about views, they do what makes them happy. And also, if Area 11 did become mainstream, I may sound selfish for saying this, but I would hate it. I like being unique, not being with the crowd. They like One Direction, I like Area 11. Who the hell do you think we are, haters?

You know these guys have to be tight to right a song over an anime they rightfully, and collectively though was amazing.
I'm not going to make any comment on this to the old version, because I can't really, no matter the incarnation (Demo, Blackline, ATLITS, Now) this song never fails to get me completely pumped for whatever I'm doing.

What I love about the 11'ers (fans as I have affectionately called them) is that nearly everyone watches their videos, some bigger youtubers have like 500,000 subscribers, but only get like 200,000 views per video. These guys will always to me and their audience!

Is it bad that i like the older version of this better?...This one has a clear improvement in places. The quality and editing is better, and the technique of the musicians, and vocalist have greatly improved. But something about the old version sounds...better? idk how to put it, but i think ill stick with that one. Sorry.

I'm a bit uncomfortable with the autotuning however. Not saying that it's bad, it does kinda fit it, it's just that Sparkles* sound much better without it and I don't think I can get used to it.

rockman1567 yeah its good, i would recommend it. But this film clip in particular is an anime called "Tengen toppa gurren lagann" and after you watch it. This song becomes so much more clearer and alot better.

Watching this on my old laptop for the first time, actually though the parts where the screen was going messed up that it was the laptop. until I came out of full screen I was really worried. (When it came to the end I kinda knew that it wasn't)
Haha. Sparkles explained that on one of the xmas livestreams. Parv dropped the hard drives with the videos, so the footage went weird and it woulda cost too much to reshoot it all (seeing as it was filmed twice already)

Sparkles explained it all :) it was supposed to be, if I recall, two videos at once-one bright, one dark (hence the clothing changes) and they mixed the two. Fortunately, the video looked good despite the problems with the files so they kept it-also woulda cost too much to record them again
