- This video is a recap of my recent trip to Alaska where we camped in a very remote camp, way off the grid to photograph brown bears as they fished for salmon. Yes I had 2 guides standing next to me at all times both permitted to operate as a bear guide as well as carrying bear spray.
Would like info on specifically where in Katmai you went, and what guide/service you used. I was just there myself, making daily flights out of Homer and landing on the beach. I like the idea of camping there better.
I had to sign a NDA as part of the trip so I cannot disclose the exact location but I went with www.karsafaris.com, I would contact them with any questions.
