Sh*t i moved my head so brutally. I can feel your feelings through your smile while you beating the drums. The sound into my ears seems to increase my soul and definition of life Thanks a lot you’re great (drummer)🙏🌶 From France 🤘
I am a bit confused. I'm a guitarist, I'm used to 4/4 alternating kick then snare, then again kick then snare. One, two, three, four, yes. But I look at the tabs of this song, then there is such a repetition (one, two, three, four) for two whole times, but this is only one bar of the song. It just feels like CHAD plays here on kick (one, two, three, four) and on snare (and). Then one whole bar of the song is obtained. I just don't know how to put it into words :(
@@sernock7292 I'm still a little confused with what you're saying, but I'll try to help you out as best as I can. If we're dividing the "One, two, three, four" you're talking about into 4 beats at 175BPM (which is roughly the tempo of the song), then the snare drum is ALWAYS playing on 2 and 4. The kick drum is NOT playing on either "One, ___, three, ____" NOR on "One, Two, Three, Four." Chad is playing a more complicated syncopation that repeats within a longer 8 bar phrase in the verse, and then is completely improvised in the chorus. The verse groove usually involves him playing on the "&" counts in between the "One, two, three, four." Hope this helps a little, please continue to ask questions if you're confused. I'd love to help if I can.
Best tribute song ever!
