I LOVE how you took what was essentially a costume and transformed each piece into something great and totally wearable! It’s giving me real world thrifting inspo 😂
This was a lot of fun to watch. I would enjoy seeing more if you like making them. There were only a couple i didn't like. Several of them were real wins. It is a great exercise and it inspires all of us to think of new combos. ❤
That was so fun. I'm so glad Kristie suggested this for you. Definitely do this again. :) The pink sweater, teal blue skirt and blue boots with coral laces are the Sparkle Sweater outfit. I have no idea why AG thinks that those 3 pieces go together, but they don't. But they look really cute separately. :) I LOVE how you used the skirt as a top and as a scarf. So cute! I really like the outfit with Evette's duster. I'm not a tights fan either, but that's more so because they snag and annoy me. I think I've sold ever pair of tights I've ever gotten. The outfit with Julie's skirt is so cute and I bet Isabelle's Meet shoes would look really cute with that. I agree that the last outfit is adorable too. Great job on everything!!
Oh, I LOVED this! You did so, so well. I'm impressed you went with the tap outfit as your base; I think I would have switched to something else because I would just be like "it's a dance outfit, it can't be anything else!" in my head (hence why this challenge is so fruitful). I loved your cleverness is using the skirt as a tube top and a scarf. Hilariously, I actually really liked your first tights outfit that you said you didn't like - I think it's super cute. I think using the tights with outfits like that leans in the "quirky" factor, which I definitely like. The second outfit is definitely my fav, tho. You rocked it!
Outfit 7 and 8 are giving Shake It Up Disney channel vibes. I love this!!! Your dolls always dress sooo nice i definitely wanna see more of these videos
i loveee this. i tend to re use the same few mix and max combinations in my collection, so i love when i see someone using a piece i hve and it inspires me all over again!!
Ann, I love this! I can really see how it pushed you to look at your collection differently and get out of your comfort zone. I think these types of challenges are great for that. In general, I think *the right amount* of restriction can boost creativity (write a short story from the perspective of an animal...every outfit must include something from the tap dance outfit...make tonight's dinner incorporating these three ingredients, etc). My favorite outfit is the second one, which feels VERY Innerstar U. to me. It's very "sixth grade awards ceremony" :-) But I think the skirt as a scarf was the most creative. I hope you do this again soon. My next one is scheduled to air next month (always filming in advance lol).
I loved this so much and I’ll definitely do it again!!! It removes the creativity block when it comes to actually dressing my dolls. Thank you so much for the inspo!!
Yesss, I love when kristy does this challenge and I loved your take on it! I hope you do it again!
I definitely will!

I think the combinations are cute. The last one looks like she’s going to a ball, it’s adorable with those gloves ❤️
The gloves just brought it all together
