My feeling is that KDH improved so much under Maresca at Leicester that there was a belief he might continue to get better. Clearly, he had peaked but that wasn't obvious until after he came to Chelsea.
With regards to Jackson, I think we should just bring an elite striker and use Nico on the wings as an alternative to Jadon. I believe he can execute a similar play style similar to Jadon using link up play. Guiu stays as an understudy to the new striker
Enzo says he does not see Nico as a winger. 99% sure we will not see him there ever under maresca.
Also, there is NO WAY Nico would play like Jadon on the wings. He does not have the ball control for that.
He would be a run-in-behind type winger the same way he is a run-in-behind type striker.
@ I feel differently about that. He will be able to maneuver himself in tight spaces on the wing the same way he does with a CB and CM on his back or the two CB’s. Might not be an exact fit but he can offer you the same thing to an extent.
Thanks for the content, keeps us updated about possible movements during this window and summer, personally I would love Chelsea to get Liam Delap possibly in the summer to create a healthy competition with Jackson

Casedai had a lot of hype while he played for the U21 italian squad. AFAIK he was top scorer at a european tournament. In a sense a european version of Andrey Santos. Good frame, strong at headers, can score. Needs a lot of defensive development. But IMO there is some big potential. The perfect player for the likes of a BVB Dortmund. In regards to KDH he didnt match the expectitions simple as that. And with Andrey Santos and Leslay Uguchukwo return from loan there is even more and imo better competion.
IMO the Club should sign a new No.1 GK. An experienced CB to lead the defense. In midfield we are sorted. Buy a LW and have Neto on the right. Get an elite striker ffs. In UCL you need someone with experience to lead the line. Victor Gyköres offers what we need uppfront.
Selling Chelobah, Broja, Datro Fofana, Chilwell, Disasi, Casedai and Nkunku bringing in the needed funds.
Casadei was 15 mil. euros with 5 in add ons which i'm sure have not been achieved

I get the logic of taking a Championship star and bringing him in, its been a division with a really good hit rate over the last few years. But there wasn't an obvious position for him and when you have Nkunku, and then add Sancho and Felix it just looks like a complete waste of time for the player and the club.
The issue isn’t that all clubs miss on some transfers and KDH was a miss. The issue is it was an obviously terrible signing from day one.
Bakayoko was the poorest player I saw regularly play for Chelsea

championship manager is a chelsea standard but KDH is not. the coach just run the ist team to d ground refusing to use the rest players in the team.

@PlainJaneDaytona bit sad when we get out muscled financially by a spanish club. Felix has been next to useless as was KDH. If you think we did well out of that deal you must be mad. The biggest ability is availability.
