I grew up with a guy who owned a ranch and we hunted pigs with his border collies. They also retrieved upland and waterfowl. Great freaking hog dogs. One time that dog ripped a hogs nutsack wide open and whipped it right around for a lights out shot. Good dogs.

Man it's disappointing that you've never had a good hunt with a well trained dog. The proper training is a very large commitment and you need the lifestyle to provide it. (get a female dog)
