@@stevekay1925 How am I putting too much thought into this when I'm making a valid point? Omega is being pretty obnoxious and ignorant about what makes Changing Keys a great theme. I couldn’t get into this one until listening to it the last couple of days because it doesn’t sound like a theme for Wheel, sounds more like some music you’d play at a beach party
The 2017 theme had to be withdrawn after 4 seasons because it sounded similar to a music track played on some IGT slot machines when a handpay condition is triggered.
The 1992-94 theme had a shorter lifespan than this one did. So did the '94-'97 theme. And those were two of Wheel's best themes, especially when compared to this. I wouldn't say it's THAT sad.
It didn't last long because it was based off a 2016 pop song that didn't even chart in the Top 40. Changing Keys works because so much of today's pop music is based on 80s music.
It's obvious someone on Wheel's staff thought HandClap by Fitz and the Tantrums would make a good theme song for Wheel. So glad they brought back Changing Keys in time for Pat's last episode. Because this was a cringey attempt at catering to a younger audience.
I'm not sure if this "Wheel of Fortune" Theme Song should be dubbed over with the new "Wheel of Fortune" Theme Song during Season 38 of Saturday night reruns!🤔😍
I only started watching Wheel 3 years ago and this song was such an upbeat energetic way to start the show. When the 'new' song started playing I was thrown.?!!! It broke my heart. I find the current theme to be like musak by comparison. The thrill is gone.
I'm so glad "Changing Keys" is coming back to replace this theme. The 2021 theme is much better than this and actually sounds like Wheel of Fortune. While this is good music, I feel like this doesn't fit Wheel of Fortune. It sound like something a person with a midlife crisis plays attempting to be hip. It's just as bad as when Family Feud changed it's theme to some generic techno from 1999 - 2008 to appeal to a younger audience.
Eh, I gotta be honest here. I was never crazy about this theme. Sure, it's catchy but I also found it generic. This one lacked the personality most other WOF themes had. And it sounded better suited for a video game than it did a game show.
@@stevekay1925 But this is a game show we're talking about here. This is Wheel of Fortune, not a beach party. You gotta have a theme that suits the kind of show you are, and this one was far from it.

DAAAAAMN, that sax player is havin a good time with it! That’s the best sax playing I’ve heard.
Yeah that’s some good sax bro
@meadowsgm My husband thinks I have gone crazy over the trumpet player. He is good.

I'm happy that "Changing Keys" is coming back but Man! I'm gonna miss this theme!
I agree. This felt like the next generation of Wheel was ready to take over. I definitely will miss it. Luckily there was RUclips.
Same here. This was my favorite theme since the 80s version
This theme kind of sounds like a beach party doesn’t it
That makes both of us!
I agree with you; this was a really good theme.
This is like beach going party music theme

RIP to this amazing theme!
It sucked...good riddance....the new version of the original theme is better...
@das 1988 your tripping off nostalgia juice, this theme had way more energy and dynamic melodies. old theme is so repetitive and low energy...

This is way too good for a game show song

Sony confirmed that Changing Keys is back for Season 39 in a modern style. Can you change the title to say 2017-2021?
I Know Right?
The title from Wheel of fortune was from 2017-2021 was chasing the title to say "Modern Sax Keys"
