    My job is good and I make great money for a server but the majority of my coworkers are really mean to me, one of the very few people who are kind to me just had her father pass away yesterday so I wanted to make her something to show I care and I decided this little huggable friend would be perfect! Thank you so much!!! It was a great video and I love your energy :)

    As an avid crocheter at first I was a little annoyed with how you counted out each stitch and repeated movements but then I remembered back to when I was just starting out and honestly the slow and repetitive tutorial is really awesome and I’m so glad you took the time to really clearly show every step! Also helped me because I decided to use 4weighted yarn and a 5mm hook and so had to double the whole pattern on the body but only 3/4 the arms and legs to get it to the size I wanted, and seeing you count it out helped a lot when I was adjusting each part to make it size up correctly!
    I have a beautiful little Froggie for my sister now, thank you!

    • @AnitaLouiseCrochet
      @AnitaLouiseCrochet  4 месяца назад +4

      Im so glad! I’ve made it with different weight yarn, too, to make it in smaller sizes. I made a short to show how you can make it smaller! ruclips.net/user/shortsAQ-pXdFIeTA?si=4xirIN401yPa0KBT thank you! ☺️

    wonderful tutorial! As a intermediate-advanced crocheter, sometimes videos like this are way too drawn out, but this was a perfect length. I did size up to a 6.5 hook and used animal noses for the safety eyes. They are the ones without detail, just triangular in shape so my frog looks extra disappointed lol. As many others are saying, I can’t wait to make more for family and friends :) !

    amazing pattern! this was my first ever attempt (technically second, we don't talk about the first..) attempt at crocheting as I'm teaching myself and i loved how my little frog turned out! he's not perfect and looks bloated and slightly deformed but he's perfect in my eyes. took him to my classes today and my peers and teachers loved seeing him, and i have a few people already interested in buying my work! i cannot thank you enough for the clear, easy to understand tutorial and the fact that you wrote out each stitch while showing us! means a lot, will definitely do more of your tutorials in the future!

    Pro tip for anyone who knits or crochets regularly: don't throw away the ends you snip off. They can be used as stuffing for this type of thing! Also thanks for the tutorial! It was my first time doing a toy and yes I did improvise a bit but for a first attempt and given that I only started crocheting about two weeks ago, this didn't turn out all that bad. The face looks kinda wonky but it has its charm anyway 🐸

      @@AnitaLouiseCrochet thanks! I’ll let u know how it goes whenever I get stuff to crochet with. U got any tips on what to get for beginners?

    • @AnitaLouiseCrochet
      @AnitaLouiseCrochet  Год назад +1

      @@Suri-ph5jf I was just thinking I should making a video about that!! 🤣 You can get any yarn. On the label it will say the size (I think a size 4, 5, or 6 is best for beginners!) In the same place, it will say a recommended hook size to use. As long as you have a hook size that matches the yarn size, you should be good to go! ❤️ here is my beginner learn to crochet series: ruclips.net/p/PLem3xDFnVY6mwQO6z7MKUxzhAQY2VYcTN&si=2gOBOVw-Bl2htKJY

    Thank you so much for your content. I started out with this being one of my first crochet projects and it was very helpful the way you explained and wrote things out. I made some for my family and they inspired me to begin a crochet business. I wanted to ask if it was okay to sell these kids of leggy froggies. I’m so thankful for your teaching, thank you again.

    I have a question - in the beginning why do we do our first st in the 3rd ch from the hook? Doesn’t 1 hdc = 1 ch? I’m asking because I think it needs ch 8 as foundation instead of ch9
