How to Make Perfume like YSL In Love Again

Today I mix a formula found in a Firmenich patent, which is in the style of YSL’s 1998 release: In Love Again. (Apologies for the audio snafus).
Update: Since posting this video, I've learned that this formula is in the style of In Love Again, but there are meaningful differences between this formula and the real juice. Still, it's a simple formula to blend. Have fun with it!

This may be a stupid question, but how could you tell your materials had spoiled? Did they just not smell like you remembered or did they smell unmistakably off? I haven’t opened mine in about two years, just thinking about cracking them open again and I don’t think I even trust myself to know if they’re off 😂 I didn’t realise they spoiled so quickly 😮 PS I love your videos. Perfumery meets ASMR - top tier content 😅

I knew because I have (had) two fragrances that spoiled. One day I opened my beta ionone and smelled the same “off” notes. Then I opened my Ebanol and smelled a similar off note. The last one was Hedione, which had a rotten milk note.
If you think a material is off, but are unsure, it helps to google the heck out of it. You can then compare what you smell to the descriptions you find online.
