This is cool. My strategy on making the story telling descriptions, apart from story telling with data, is to always to down one level on the hierarchy and talk about rank top3 best performance and top1 worst change% growth or total value.
People don't realize this is just one of the most important content for anyone that works with analytics. And I say they don't realize because this video should have at least 500k views LOL thanks for the content Mo!!!
Another thing is to combat the age old trend of illegible font sizes. One contributing factor is trying to cram too much detail on a slide, but even when that is not the case, I find that many presenters don't bother to increase font sizes.
I have a BA presentation tomorrow to C Level Execs. I’m using a few of your suggestions like the CTA title! Thank you, this video was extremely helpful. And like the last tip, it was SIMPLE 😊
Good stuff, well explained. I think I recognize some of the styles here. Data Storytelling is one of the most important, but overlooked skills for data professionals.
Make sure you know your dataset inside out. If you do come across questions that you don't know, don't panic and make up something on the spot. Just say it's a great question and it's not something you've looked into yet, but you will revert back once you investigated it.
I prefer Tableau just because I think the UI is nicer. Both are very good visualisation tools. Which one to specialize in really depends on which organisation you work or want to work for. Usually the company will have either Tableau or Power BI. I’ve never heard of a firm who used both. Thanks a lot for watching!
Can you please make a video, if you fear that your Job will be replaced by AI? Becauce espacilly Tasks like visualising Data is something where AI is already pretty good at. Would be interesting to hear you point of view about that? Greetings from Austria

May i ask? What do you use to create this chart ( 8:30) ? Is it from Tableau or Python, excel?
I used Excel 😁
Great presentation from Mo. Awesome.
How do you prepare yourself to handle a wide range of questions that anyone can ask Mo?
