Wikipedia has some interesting facts about the Noel park estate, every house was to have a front and back garden but in keeping with the Artisan movement there were no pubs built in the area of the 2,200 houses , even today. Seeing the motorcycle chained to a sign post reminds me of why I left Harringay.
