I am impressed by how you arrange your shopping trips to Juneau. You seem to have your list in your head. It takes a lot of planning for you to schedule those trips and to be sure to get reservations for the ferry. prices are comparable to those in Detroit for "some items". i would have bought two packagesbof toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates and zip loc bags if i needed or not.

At Costco food is much more reasonable than say at our local grocery store. For the same Costco item it is basically doubled. Thats why we try to shop mostly at Costco.
A few months ago olive oil prices skyrocketed all over the world due to droughts and wildfires destroying crops. The prices are slowly going back down but not by much ( costs now sells the double pack as singles cheaper to try and reduce prices)
It just came out? From where? From who? You give no resources. I've never heard that. People will do what they do. Everyone is different. Some eat sugar. Some don't. Some do keto, some don't. And people will continue to cook with Evo.
Evoo has a lower smoke point is the reason for them saying not to cook with it, to use a higher smoke point oil such as avocado oil, but I cook with evoo all the time and many meditarian countries have used it for generations. May just be a marketing scheme

Says who? That’s all my Italian family has ever used and our relatives live well into their 90’s! 😂 we only buy olive oil that is produced in Italy.
