I went to the Cart & Horses in 1976, purely by accident. I hadn't heard of Iron Maiden, and as I entered the pub Iron Maiden were playing on the left of the door, as you went in. I also didn't know that my old school friend Paul Mario Day, was making his singing debut for them that night. Also Paul Dianno, lived near me in Oliver Rd, Leyton, in a 20 storey tower block. Such a long time ago now.
