Really long tape ins that you can reuse cost $300-500 depending on length…plus she basically gives a silk press, treatment and trim within the service as well. I don’t get this style bc it’s too expensive and i don’t like how overtime it impacts the health of the hair if you style at home (which i do between professional appointments) But the price is fair.
Yeah, these new stylists are making salary per head. I work in Tech with a master’s degree and make about $500/day (8 hours) so $790+ for 2 hours is crazy. Most don’t have a salon, no license, and demand non-refundable booking deposits on top of that! It’s very exploitative, and you can tell by how she “so you see how much money you can make” instead of “so you see the value of what’s included in the service?”
