This is how I’ll remember them. Though I’m satisfied with the ending, though I understand what happened in the end with them, this is still how I choose to remember them. The hugs, the longing, the sweet dates, the never-ending support, and their love for each other.
The ending of 2521 will def scar me for quite a long while. 😭
Their journey was perfect, but the way the show made its exit was close to what i personally consider a reality, which is something i try to 'escape' from briefly whenever i opt for ROMCOM genre.
BAWLED MY EYES OUT on the FINAL EPS, and that was the first in 15 years since i started watching K-series. I'll try my best to stay away from ALL romcom projects in the near future, this is too exhausting.
omg same TT i've never cried this much over a drama in my life. My eyes and head hurts coz of excessive bawling of tears. But have to suck it up and accept it coz life is unfair
@@kitcat8709 I slept at half past 4 am cuz my mind went blank & couldnt seem to process the ending at all.
Cuz, obviously Yijin didnt wanna break up, THAT'S WHY he avoided HeeDo after dropping off her bag, cuz it seemed like he just needed time alone for a moment to reorganize his mind again before returning to his lady, THAT'S WHY he asked HeeDo at the tunnel if they were doing the right thing, THAT'S WHY he got immediately offended when HeeDo asked if he even really loved her.
But then, the same HeeDo who once told Yurim that she was afraid of losing Yijin, surprisingly gave up on him just like that truly BAFFLED me. That young lady i saw on the second half of eps 16 wasnt HeeDo that i've known for the past 15 eps. Thats not who HD was. She would NEVER let go of Yijin first. Not then, not ever.

@@allisontadeo8472 thats not HeeDo whom YiJin fell in love with. She would never leave YiJin's side, specifically when he was in a bad state, and vice versa. It's not that i was upset with a sad ending or even their break up, i expected that to eventually happen at some point, but the way they ruined HeeDo's character development was just too cruel and not right at all.
@@clemmyw.1967 exactly my thoughts...like seriously the baekdo i knew would never let LDR get in between them..literally 6 months of long distance can make them let go of all the 3 years they spend together that too overcoming much bigger challenges than this? Heedo was a character who would never give up her love.. when yijin asked her to keep distance between them..she legit begged him to alteast keep some kind of love between them if not that romantic one..but now suddenly she gave up. i mean understand that she had her "mommy issues" and she didnt want a future filled with waiting and getting disappointed but for god's sake its YIJIN ...its him.. how can you give up on him? he was still in love with her till the last second of the episode...when i saw that dream he had ..the beach scene.. and then he cried in his sleep...i bawled my eyes out...he didn't deserve this at all... and then to rub the salt on our wounds the writer showed that heedo married some other dude who guess what? works overseas and is an absent father to minchae....bro wtf? yijin would have been a much better partner to her despite his busy schedule....im extremely disappointed about how they didnt show baekdo fighting for their love... the writer just made them give up...and in the future they still are suffering...if they would have a happy future that might have eased our pain a little..but no...sorry for my long rant..but im absolutely NOT OKAY.
Dunno if i should be happy to see thier lovely friendship or whether to be sad because we may be got to let them go...!💔

They both loved their careers and wanted to support each other not keep each other binded by their love, the long distance relationship would have been heavy on both of them, Their love was pure, they wanted each other to be happy without being apologetic, it's bittersweet but I'm glad they supported each other

Good advice from Hee Do. Though things might not work out but try to end it amicably. Don't say things you don't mean at the heat of the moment. And if you did, apologise quickly. Above all, don't take a lifetime to finally say the things that you really wanted to say.
I did not have the courage to watch episode 16 after reading all the comments. Reading these comments bleeds my heart and all the time and efforts I spent only went down the drain in split seconds. 😭😭😭😰😰😰
Trust me I really wanted these two to have a happy ending, but the more I think about their relationship, I'm glad the writer didn't put them together. Even though both characters complemented one another well, viewing it from Na heedo's perspective, for such a bubbly person, yi jin was kind of a mood killer. No matter how much she tried to keep things positive, yi jin always had the tendency of being negative which made the situation more difficult and sad and yes I am aware that being apart from someone you love is hard, but it really wasn't the type of energy she needed in her life. Trust me I'm not bashing yi jin because I loved his character. Just logically, I wouldn't want to be in a relationship with someone that made me feel sad and depressed whether it be long distance or not.

What a teaser (these scenes) then will kill you in just 1 epi. The writer should not allow to write any more dramas - has no idea the impact it created to viewers. The writer killed what naheedo and yijin represents ... strength, hope, true and pure love... that love should have not broken - this should ve given the viewer's hope and strength .
