Great download George. It's also great know just what Teresa was saying before she sings, so the English translation is a fantastic addition to this performance.
I am aware that the 'Plum Blossom' is the national flower of China. But can you tell me is this song a sort of 'UNofficial anthem of China as well?
I did actually hear it sung in a huge Chinese restaurant here in London a few years ago. Many of the diners were standing & singing it. But then at the time I hadn't any idea what it was about. It is only through following Teresa that I have discovered something about the song & the Plum Blossom.
