Hi shaun great video! Looks like outside wants a lick of paint Looks to big for a holiday home too much maintenance and cleaning would be unbearable in that summer heat I've tried it you sweat buckets and that's just cleaning my two bed apartment on the last day of my holiday the bigger the casa the work load increases it would make good permanent home for someone who's youngish and enthusiastic until the novelty wears off🤔

great house only 2 things i cant stand about spain is the food i always get sick when i eat spanish food and the bars on every window makes them look ugly other then that i would live in spain but since im in the algarve i wouldent change to sapin now keep up the great tours Shaun ^^

Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video - you will find most old houses/villas in Spain have metal bars on the windows as they have single glass and always can leave the windows open. Most new builds have double glazing and air-con and don't have bars on the window. Most insurance companies like you to have bars on the windows and doors as added security. Very nice tour Shaun. How hot in the summer and how cold in the winter dies it get in Composol? And do you know what era/ year these type of houses were built? When did they start building double-glazed windows w/o bars?
Hi, during July & August its in the 40’s and during late November till March in the evenings it can drop down to 2c or below. At the moment its 27c today but you need to look at central heating. On Camposol A, they are over 20 years old. Non had double glazing, these would be added during the years.
Changing to double-glazed windows is easy. And you cannot change the weather. Very hot in the summer& very cold in winter. But from what I gather, the builder did a substandard job at Camposol. The foundation is sinking, homes were built illegally, homes were built on a riverbed, roads sink & collapse, etc. Hence, the prices are much lower. Where are the more ideal places that don't have such issues? And if you had the money, where would you buy a home?
@@yolysun7420 best thing to do is visit the Mazarron area and see for yourself as I live on Camposol :)

That " cheeping " sound you are hearing....is that not a smoke detector needing the battery changed ? We have them in UK and thats what they sound like when battery needs changed...

What does sector ABC and D stand for
When they was building Camposol, to make it easy for the builders, they broke it up in Sectors and now the estate agents use them and its stuck.

Nice looking property Shaun. Something maybe to address on one of your Thursday chats if you can get any clarity on it is the situation with habitation certificates on B, C and D. The information on the internet seems to be very out of date but suggests that these important documents are not available on B, C and D.
Did Mandy, Steve and Harvey manage to get habilitation certificates for their properties when they bought more recently? The specific document is known as “cédula de habitabilidad”.

Reference the habitation certificate, we have not got one and not to bore you with the story, must properties on Camposol have not got these even thou some people do have them. Our Camposol councillor has been trying to sort this out but when, who knows, Many thanks for watching :)
@ So it is still the same today then, issues like utility connections and changing consumer names can be worked around? Total reconnections seem to be a bit more of a problem, so pay those bills on time Shaun. 😜
The confusion in my mind arises when the lawyers are saying it is critical to have one and illegal to sell a property that is to be habited (apparently you can sell a ruin with no plans for occupancy without one). Then anyone selling a property without one says “Ah, don’t worry about it.” and even the town hall turns a blind eye. 😁
Apparently you can sue your Spanish bank if they provide a mortgage for a property and completion goes ahead without a certificate if problems arise longer term. So banks won’t provide funds without that documentation. Seems a bit iffy to me, but others seem to do ok without it.
@@kevtheargonut, one thing I've learnt here is they set the rules and there is nothing you can do about it. The whole system here is behind and each region does it different, it's knowing the right region is doing it correctly :)
