Die Esel werden zu Touristenzwecken ausgebeutet und müssen sehr leiden. Sie müssen in der brütenden Hitze, den ganzen Tag (12 Std.) ohne Wasser, meist viel zu schwere Touristen transportieren. Ich habe sehr erschöpfte Esel gesehen und auch verletzte. Aktuelle Aufnahmen vom Tierschutzverein RespekTiere aus Juli 2022 zeigen ihr Leid.

That was why we never ride donkeys when we went there. I felt pity for them. :( People should just learn to walk.

Depende langga sa place, kani kay wa man ko kasinate sa area maong lapos lapos ra ko nag walk, pero ug kanang kabalo na ko sa place like dri sa Stavanger, magplano ko sa akong route na walkingan.
