Yup I'd go as an adult without kids too. Once I saw sitting next to me on a Disney cruise, two grandparents, dressed up like winter gear in Frozen just eating dinner like nothing is going on. It was sooooo cool
I have taken a couple of Disney cruises solo. My kids are grown and sometimes I just want to sit and relax on my own without worrying about making someone else happy. Love the Disney ships.
We took the Disney Fantasy in 2022 with 5 adults and had a great time. Great shows, no casinos, adult pools used by adults only. Castaway Cay adult area was greatly improved over our Disney Magic visit in June 1999. Looking to try a Disney cruise out of Galveston TX next. However, the Onion Soup really was horrible which I had read in reviews previously to our trip and hoped they were exaggerating. Aqua-Duck was incredible.
Disney has a the best cabins. Overacted but overall great dinning. Magic and Wonder are my favorites. I can only justify the high price if I travel with kids . The adult area is always full and sometimes louder than kids are .

I always hear how bad the onion soup is! It feels like a running joke that I am not part of lol

I absolutely love sailing Disney without kids…even solo. I hate the party casino atmosphere of other cruise lines.

I REALLY hated the dingy, tiny cramped little “Wonder” and found my experience really underwhelming
