1944 Atlantic Hurricane Season Animation

In what could've been described as a slightly above average season using today's metrics, 1944 featured 14 storms, 8 of which became hurricanes and 3 majors. The strongest hurricane was Seven, also known as the Great Atlantic Hurricane, which went on to strike New England as a Category 2, while several storms were also notable for causing hundreds of fatalities.
