"men converse to problem-solve, women converse to relationship build" This realization really helped me with friendships and dialoguing with the different sexes
At minute 53, Doug give the example if you bump someone inadvertently and say ''pardon me'' it's not the same as forgive me. ''Pardon'' is the french word for forgivness... so yes you're saying the same thing, just in a different language hehe Just my two frenchy cents 😉
The newest research behind man and woman brain found that there is no difference with woman and man brain. The difference of the way of man and woman thinking and communicate more influenced by the social construction and culture. Meanwhile we found more woman have more straightforward and direct way of communication
Is it plausible that men and woman are very different--and play different roles--but share an equal worth? That seems to nicely solve the problem (assuming we are God's creations).
Sorry, but that is incorrect. If that were true, we wouldn't see men struggling with dyslexia, for example, more frequently than women. That is a XY genetic brain dysfunction that can't be accounted for by social conditioning. Pregnant women's brain charges dramatically due to hormonal changes. If hormones and genetics can influence the brain structure, then it's not solely due to social construction. Norway, for example, is among the most egalitarian nations and yet there's a disproportionately large number of educated women pursuing "traditional" feminine roles outside of the home such as teaching and nursing. There's no pressure to be any of those in such an egalitarian society. Our brains are similar but different. Brain scans can be differentiated with over 90% accuracy by brain activity alone, based on where the brain lights up.
@@anastasiasatriyo4883 ok, then give the reference for that research. Apparently you have no idea of the mass of research showing innate male-female differences that have nothing to do with culture.

Is it Christ's responsibility to make the church feel good? Then neither is it men's responsibility to make their wives feel good. This topic is based on the premise that men need to make their wives feel good.
Does that also mean it’s not the responsibility of the wife to make her husband feel good? Whether you want to emotionally live the law of consecration is up to you and what ideal you want to surround yourself with in the celestial kingdom in my opinion
@@ericjames7819 Colossians 3:19 "Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them". It is indeed her duty to submit, but it is the husband's duty to show her love and kindness. It is also his duty to submit to God, and he should model God's grace to her just as God has for mankind when we absolutely did not deserve it. If you have submitted to God, in the same way she is expected to submit to you, you will demonstrate the fruit of the spirit and you are expected to lead her and set the examples of displaying Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. Of course both the husband and the wife should be bearing the Fruit of the Spirit, assuming they're both Christians and I hope that goes without saying.
