The twit calling him a liar then pulling the race card out of the blue is a disgrace. 20 years ago a man's application for a government job in Canada immediately stopped when he clicked non minority. Affirmative action, DEI hires have risen to high positions now. A Dean and faculty at Harvard accused of plagiarism. Toronto police supervisor promotes black officers because he's racist.

I'm a black man whose parents were born here. I'm a Nigerian born British, but I must admit that I empathise with this man. What he is saying is actually factual. The British government seem to care more about its global image than the welfare of its own indigenous citizens. It's a sad situation, really! A country that is so organized with an unrivalled structure yet tends to concern itself more with pleasing and catering for foreigners than its own indigenes. If you were a truly useful immigrant who loved your country you would want us out of the EU too.

    • @mw01908

    • @TheTaterTotP80
      @TheTaterTotP80 6 лет назад +9

+Abu Jabbar I disagree with the whole racial shit of saying one race is smarter than another. That's not true afaik, circumstances dictate education etc, not race. But the thing is, in Britain people and their families pay into a safety net for other Britons, immigrants then come over and take advantage of it despite never providing anything FOR Britain or Britons.
Secondly, there are many government programs to help immigrants succeed and prosper, yet a minority of programs for native Britons. This is the issue. Many immigrants are also given social housing despite never providing anything to deserve it or warrant it other than being an immigrant, generally with a large family.
Second this with many immigrants having no desire to assimilate into British culture and society, impose their own values and cultures, or bring cultures, values and religions that conflict with British culture and identity and here you are.

In Merseyside (Liverpool) where I'm from, there are 4 different Boroughs and their rules and regulations on getting your badge are wildly contrasting and in 2009 I had to find a way to raise the funds to get my badge, whilst several immigrants on my course got the whole thing free! If you think that anyone that comes to the UK has more rights to a UK resident you are an utter idiot. I have a permanent right to reside in the UK, my mum is a British Citizen. I lost my job once and went to the job centre there were many many many many ways of making it extremely difficult for anyone who isn't a British Citizen to receive those benefits. The maximum amount of EU citizen can recieve benefits are 3 months. Bare in mind, the people working in these centres are extremely uneducated on EU law and I had to argue with them many times because I WAS A PERMANENT RESIDENT having lived/worked and graduated in Britain (15 years).
The laws are discriminatory if anything. This myth that immigrants get benefits or jobs easier than a native is an absolute fucking lie considering most employers are ENGLISH/British. Nobody gives a fuck if you're ENGLISH if youre shit at your job. VALUE is what an employer looks for. That makes a business work properly. What has become of the UK when indigenous people turn against their own , is it because they are benefiting from the chaos. The man may have not been articulate but he was desperate and yet everyone clapped with glee when he left, so this means everyone is really happy to see him go without a job or a place to live and to eternally suffer. He did not come across as racist to me he just said the facts
but the racism was implied by a London Jewish immigrant who actually said nothing of any relevance.I'm an immigrant who has integrated and fully support the indigenous population who have always been welcoming , the British are creative, humorous, intelligent people, there has got to be a time when

@M S Not everyone is born with the luxury of having people to show them the right path in life early on. • @weepingangel6805

@M S I think the issue really is why is the government giving jobs to foreigners when there's people at here who were born here that need work. It is not racist, in my opinion, to say that the government should look after it's own first. Now, obviously we now have brexit, so we will see whether my argument holds up. It may well be that white working class are unemployed simply because they want to be, or because they are too lazy. If that is the case, then I am more than prepared to hold my hands up and admit I'm wrong. But until then, I cannot believe that people are happy to sit around doing nothing their whole lives. Look at him in his eyes, his anger, why would he be angry if he knows that he's just been lazy? It's all perception I guess. As I said, we will soon see what is perception vs reality.

Immigration is definitely getting a raw deal of late and people seem to think the problems will go away if we had no immigration, it's being used as a scapegoat for other political means, chances are if we didn't have immigration, many jobs would leave the country and how many would be willing to do some of those jobs because we already know it's usually jobs not many of us want to do or it's low paid work, that's the problem, it's a double edge sword.

Firstly, its immigrants not inmigrants. Firstly, that's not true, the guy who has Jewish grandparents is child of immigration and with the Daily mail editor, shes Australian (she's most likely going to be British from decent). The issue is there's a huge surge in austerity which cannot be linked to immigration, people like him are simply targeting the wrong group. The conservative party are cutting funding to local councils in turn creates these issues. Immigration puts more money in to the state then it takes out, I think If we isolated ourselves the situation would get worse. Also David Aaronovitch showed himself to be as callous as they come at 3:45 "just because you perceive something doesn't make it true." what he really meant was 'You don't agree with my opinion so it isn't valid.' and he was dismissing the guy for just stating facts. Also Aaronovitch's "why are the streets not yours because some of the faces are BLACK", that was quite revealing. @@Ballardian From this video, it cannot, with full certainty, be stated that the man was expressly blaming the immigrants: it can only be conjectured, supposed, assumed. He was expressing his plight at the way the things are in his country by backing it with a cogent example -- after having applied for a 100 jobs (not so sure myself if this be an embittered hyperbole or truth), he was not only not hired by a single employer, but also did not hear back from them. From my perspective, he implies that the state of affairs was different in the past, and here, once again, it could be supposed (implied, conjectured, gleaned, etc.) that he is referring to the immigrants as the cause thereof. However, this would still be an assumption.
I am going off on a tangent here, but I really wish to express this.
The man at the panel used an underhanded verbal trick, if you like, by saying that "Just because you perceive something, doesn't make it true." This statement can be applied to any opinion, any viewpoint, any perspective... And it is so difficult to fight it because, right away, it takes on this didactic, holier-than-thou tone that just seems to have taught the opposing interlocutor a lesson (forgive my unorthodox formulation of thought). Such a statement shows that the man at the panel does not hold the other man's expressed opinion credible and does not even begin to think of it as something worthy of his consideration and, perhaps, re-evaluation. It shows that the man at the panel thinks little of the other man as he is unwilling to even listen to his perspective with an open mind.

You don't constructively explain yourself or your opinion you just shoot down everyone else and tell them you disagree with them or that they're ignorant... so share with us some of your wisdom then? what is the truth of this situation ? from what I heard there had been a 30% drop in the indigenous population and a 200% increase in immigrants. Do you think it's fair that the doors should essentially open for everyone and anyone to move in to the extreme that there is a 200% increase leaving children without school places and adults without jobs and for the government to turn a blind eye and anyone who even questions this in a reasonable and educated way is shot down as a racist or bigot or ignorant without an actual reasonable response. I am yet to hear/read an educated reply to the mans questions, only bitching and moaning that it shouldn't have been said. Nobody is blaming the immigrants, this isn't some mob movement with pitchforks in hand and burning torches. The government is to blame and something needs to be done, the way people seem to react to addressing the problem of immigration is the immediate association with bigoted views and that by some means we mean to send anyone who is not indigenous back when that is not the case. Stop immigration until employment rates are back to normal and the indigenous population is fully taken care off, because at the moment we aren't and in some places there voices are quickly becoming the minority, silenced and hushed at the mention of immigration.

That gives people the sense that there's free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of the debate." - Noam Chomsky

Immigrants who arrived in this country since 2000 contribute 20 billion pounds more than they take. 63% of immigrants are educated with a university degree, compared to around 20% of uk natives. They contribute 64% more in taxes than they take in benefits, and immigrants are 43% less likely than people born in the uk. Now that I have disproved any theory of immigrants being economically damaging, the only other argument against immigration is one referring to sovereignty (a nice way of saying xenophobia or racism) in which case there is no point arguing as you must clearly be ignorant or prejudiced. Vote leave is a shambles, very few or none of their claims are true (that's not to say that remain are any better) and they prey on the ignorant to vote for them. (Disclaimer, I was born here, I am white and I live in a normal family, I would have no reason to be bias) sorry for the long reply

I agree with what you're saying, but apart from all the racist crap the Daily Mail likes to pedal the majority of working and middle class people who voted leave did so because of what the likes of Daniel Hannan had to say. Our position in the world and funding a failing EU for the benefit of staying in a stagnant market. I voted leave, I'm educated and my vote had nothing to do with immigration.

Will. You seem to be missing the point. Either that or you have ALWAYS been in work. I'll give you something to think about. You seem like an intelligent guy.
1991.. Gerrisheimer(a German company), through a Company Director, not only stole a Union agreed payment annually made to 220 workers in a Company which Gerrisheimer had bought a few years before but on top of this, a year or so later, without warning they upped sticks and moved their operation to a sister company in London which had employed Indian workers. Their nationality really didn't matter. THEY COULD HAVE BEEN ALIENS FROM ANOTHER PLANET Will.
Those workers were SMASHED and CRUSHED because of a German Company being able to buy out an Anglo/French company.
As tears rolled down faces of my fellow workers i never forgot this happening. To say this was happening countrywide would be a huge understatement.
.....i traced a shedload of those workers...and not a single one voted REMAIN.
      D'YA BLAME THEM Will????????
When somebody steals any right to you making a living in your own country Will, you seek out the source and DESTROY.
By the way...what exactly do you mean by "NORMAL FAMILY???".....please elaborate.
For the record, i don't hate races or creeds or colours...I HATE COUNTRIES who try to crush my fellow countryman...and i hate Politicians who f*ck up!!!!....and "Dave" Cameron certainly did that!
So, why not stop your whinging and whining because you decided to put an X in the LOSING box...and pick up a shovel and help the rest of BRITAIN clear up CAMERON'S mess.
...and don't insult the intelligence of anyone who made the decision to vote LEAVE...betting they had good reason.

    • @mclovin8739
      @mclovin8739 10 лет назад +8

portsanity Absobloodylutely, rejection letters are not sent due to the paper shortage thanks to all the benefit forms, letters and council tax demands sent out to immigrants.
It is well known that immigrants like nothing better than to steal toilet paper at every opportunity they get, they send the rolls home where success is judged by the amount of toilet rolls you have.
It is near on impossible to become an astronaut as immigrants are sucking this country dry leaving next to nothing for the British space program.
Today I tripped over an uneven pavement slab, this is most likely caused by the wear and tear of immigrants walking to the job centre to claim yet more benefits, they do this on their way to work at the space program centre which is currently suffering from a major toilet roll shortage.

Like we all are. But you obviously don't share in the experience of any of this. Instead you just offer that usual tired old cry of racism that we have all heard so many, many times before whenever we try to express our dissatisfaction at being flooded out yet again with wave upon wave of cheaper foreign workers rocking up to our jobs/service/districts. but of course we are wasting our fucking breath. The powers that be are not interested in the slightest because the entire process is just so damned profitable to there own greedy white privileged class.

China is starting to feel negative effect from its one child policy.

Plus, many of the guests - like the panellists - are removed from the problems which the majority are complaining about. "Lord" Heseltine - lives in a castle and in 2004 had a net worth of £250 million. I guess he doesn't send his kids to local schools crammed with non-English speaking kids and wait for months for NHS treatment - who have to deal with immigrants (who like to have big families - nothing wrong with that, but I don't see why I should pay for it, nor my children suffer).

When I was in university David Aaronovitch was a communist. Did you notice he used the phrase "Jewish East End" - what made the East End of London Jewish if not unwelcome immigration? The people of this country have never been asked whether they want immigrants and they have never been invited to offer their opinion rather party leaders decide what they should think. Tories make out that if there is an economic case for immigration then their hands are tied - it has to occur, as if the people have to change for the good of the economy. Labour side with the immigrants ahead of the people they are meant to be representing - the working class of Britain.
Immigration is not a matter of what may or may not be good for the economy, it is our country and we should be able to decide whether we want anybody else to come here and what they need to do to fit in and live here on our terms.

eric lovelace PS other countries may have their own "monarchies", but Britain has way more royal credibility. Pomp & circumstance it may well be, but it sure as hell brings the money in. The rest of the world, believe or not, loves, respects and envies our monarchy.

How many panellist's do they need to have on Question Time ? Four usually suffices, but having six on the panel ? This man was brave to stand alone in the face of the ridicule of others. Using Nazi Germany as a comparison is a bit on the desperate side and a tenuous defence of immigration into Britain. The unpalatable reality is that there are good immigrants, bad immigrants, but there are too many immigrants. Burying heads in the sand won't make this contentious and divisive issue go away. Has anybody stopped to think what Britain will look like the 22nd century if we go on like this ?

celebrate your genocide You are a fucking gentleman and a squire, sir. I would listen to you speak publicly. Just like the Nationalists of Germany did for Hitler. He was a fucking legendary figure. He was a low-class man who rose to the leader of a country because the PEOPLE agreed with him. It's a shame he did his atrocities rather than just export them from the nation and that he went a insane in his later years. Maybe it was his plan to lose the war, regardless, Germany is a mostly white country now. I went there and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of coloured races. I saw maybe 3 or 4 coloured people. I feel that as an island nation, we could easily export all the non-indigenous people and KEEP THEM OUT, inspect boats more thouroughly and triple the number of immigration officials at the channel tunnel to properly look through the vehicles. There's a reason London has the highest number of cameras anywhere in Britain and that's because it's full of outsiders who commit crime like they would in their own countries.

So you hardly got responses due to the amount of immigrants in this country who have found jobs? Why can't people like you just say how you really feel about other nationalities in this country instead of making up false narratives to sound politically correct! Hope you found the job you were looking for...
