@@Pope005 you're forgetting the ventilators! dunno how much of a difference they make, but I bet they change something in terms of breathing resistance.
@@dagstar84 yeah but Razer straight up said it’s “not a medical device, respirator, surgical mask, or personal protective equipment (PPE) and is not meant to be used in medical or clinical settings.” And it’s FDA “registered” not necessarily FDA approved. Honestly, I think the only thing stopping me from buying this is that you are required to have your mouth showing. For me, it looks kind of silly. I really think it would be cool if they'd added in a dimmable window to this, utilizing tech already used in adjustable photography ND filters. For those that don't know, ND Filters (Neutral Density Filter) act as a way of filtering light in ways that compliment a certain lighting style, exposure, etc. on a camera. If I could have this mask with the option of not having the window, I'd definitely do it. Even just a snap-in/magnetic window blocker would have been appreciated. Regardless, the price for it is pretty high for the final product.
While I'm excited that this is finally on it's way to launch, I gotta admit that I'm a little sad that they got rid of the whole "Charging/Disinfecting station" that was in the original concept :/ Edit: Just realized they got rid of the whole "Voiceamp technology" as well...now I'm a little more disappointed :(
I just dont get why they had to make the mouth see thru like the point of a mask is to help prevent covid and what not but i like the anonymity and it looks dumb for people to be able to see your mouth
I've worn a mask since before it was needed due to my lung disease. I've worn a reusable mask suggested to me by my pulmonary dr, filters are 7 layer, last longer, and this mask I see as just a gimmick, a literal capitalism gimmick. I even reached out to razer to see the mask, inspect, try, etc. And told them my background. And all I got is a, might not be the mask for you since a breathing issue. And lets be honest, they wanted creators who had millions of instagram followers as they plastered it up for over a year. So, with that being said? if you want a gimmick piece? buy the mask. If you want a mask to protect you from the issues in the air and whats going on? Invest in a actually good mask, thats far cheaper. Just my 2 cents. Otherwise decent video.
I think there are some benefits but this isn’t a medical mask. Is there some protection sure but it’s more of a statement piece that is an air purifier more than anything
@@GeekCulture Let's get one thing straight here. If they are claiming that their masks are rated as N95 masks, N95 masks are tested and certified by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to ensure that the filtering facepiece can remove at least 95% of airborne particles. They are more effective than your standard surgical mask. Basically, they are claiming that they have the most effective masks that are usually used by the medical industry, and yet they are still trying to distance themselves from any sort of accountability and essentially saying that the mask is a novelty. Which is it??
@@WhoCares2509 Note, the filters are N95 filters, not the mask itself. This isn’t an approved N95 mask nor is this thing approved by any medical group to be used in a medical setting. There is more that goes into it than just filters on the side.

@@GeekCulture its ok sir :) heheheh i am your nunber 1 fan from philippines.... i will make my whole community subscribe you :)
😊 thank you
Imagine buying this and still getting covid
It’s not to protect completely from covid. Many masks we wear aren’t.
I always go double mask. I am buying more for the filtering hehe
Without the light you can barely see the mouth.
Is Razer a Martian company?
Yes. Their HQ is in Area 51
While I'm excited that this is finally on it's way to launch, I gotta admit that I'm a little sad that they got rid of the whole "Charging/Disinfecting station" that was in the original concept :/
Edit: Just realized they got rid of the whole "Voiceamp technology" as well...now I'm a little more disappointed :(
prob to cut costs down
i think is ridiculous we are not in a apocalypse
Everyone likes different things

how to get robbed 101
I just dont get why they had to make the mouth see thru like the point of a mask is to help prevent covid and what not but i like the anonymity and it looks dumb for people to be able to see your mouth
Actually it looks pretty cool especially with the lighting effects. Again personal opinions here but I like it
This is gonna kill Honeywells 300 dollar mask Xupermask
Make sure to wear your bike helmet at all times including knee pads 24/7
Lol
They release this after most mask mandates are over. Bad timing.
Still some countries have it and will continue in certain locations
Honestly, how can people buy this wtf
Everyone has different tastes. It’s different for sure but some want to stand out 😊
Preset colors? Weak sauce.

Which mask do you use?
@@WhoCares2509
Note, the filters are N95 filters, not the mask itself.
This isn’t an approved N95 mask nor is this thing approved by any medical group to be used in a medical setting. There is more that goes into it than just filters on the side.
You should have bought the toaster
???
This is bullshit. I stayed on their website and watched the countdown, went to buy one and went slow when it finally loaded the page... oh yea sold out. FUCKING HOW I WAS ALREADY ON THE WEBSITE WAITING?
Same here said it was In cart then it was never added and after that all I got was error 404.
@@d3adshot886 yep… these companies really need to get rid of bots and scalpers. This is why I had to buy my PS5 off of StockX for 700 plus dollars instead of retail price. Companies won’t fix things cause they get their money anyways.
@@aaron329 yep
Razer website is down..I can't buy it right now
They sold out quick! I added to cart then its gone!
So stupid.. But so cool..
is this mask for corona too ?^^
Razer says it hasn’t been tested to protect against COVID-19 but it’s filters are N95, so it’s the same protection you’ll get from N95 masks, which isn’t 100% protection either.
To be honest
Its stupid
Really, ill look like I'm going to EDC.
WHEN IM JUST DRIVING TO WORK.
OR looks like I'm a fighter pilot. When in reality I'm driving a honda.
