Love Tanya’s distinctive vibrato - just like the Country Queens before her (Tammy, Dolly & Loretta), you always know the singer after the first note is sung. No one today can touch these classic singers - no one comes close

This song is a classic country song about a married woman that got caught cheating on her husband. In those days of old in the 1960's it was a sin to be seen with another man if you were a woman and already married.

So, she was 15 years old when she did this show and the song when to #1 even after the industry tried to say she was too young to be singing such a thing. Well, I look at it as story telling. All songs if they are good are stories. It was perfect to have a 15 year old telling the story from a young ladies point of view. It was a great set up if you ask me. I think the industry was horribly jealous of this little girl coming in and singing better than most of them could.

Today they can take someone off the streets and with no talent at all most of the time it's the looks of the person they take and take the worst singer and turn them into so call singer with all the electronics turn a none voice into something! And those of the 40 50 60 70 they would travel on busses that sometimes didn't have heat are air and even breaker down! ❤I am 58 and I thank God I was born in the 60s and with my mother and Father didn't leave me a mansion but the richest of the real country gospel blues and Elvis Presley ❤❤

I love to hear Tanya Tucker sing, but I don't care for this song. It reminds me of my daddy being murdered in 79. Bless his heart. He was working that day and some man shot him in the back and it shattered his heart. I was only 10 years old. It turned my world upside down. I love and miss him so much. We never found out what really happened. The man that killed him unfortunately didn't go to prison right away. Because there wasn't enough evidence to prove the man killed my daddy ( even though my daddy's blood was all in that man's truck and all over his clothes ). Two years later that man killed two women also. Thier lives could have been spared. Then the murderer finally went to prison for life. We live in Ga. My daddy was a mechanic. I think about the saw dust on the floor of his shop. I don't know if he killed him in his shop or not, because the murderer dumped my daddy's body out at Stone Mountain Airport. 😢
