I don’t have a motorcycle and I’m not in an MC but this man is speaking FACTS! My experience is with sports so I can’t speak on MC culture and I don’t pretend to know it but I can relate to the topic. I’ve been a part of ball clubs for many years all over the west coast and one thing that ALWAYS fucked us up was that clicky shit and that selfish bullshit. I’ve seen guys have it all and throw it all away because they had to make it about them and they wanted the shine when it was supposed to be about the team and one unit. When you’re a part of something like that it’s not about you it’s about each other as a whole. “What can I do to help the team?” That should be the mindset. Not what can I do for myself. Ambition is great and you need that in sports but shitting on your teamate (brother) And to sabotage your brother (teammate) not only hurts them but hurts you even more in the long run and everyone loses because of you. We’re always stronger together and as one. Sure there are differences in opinion and thoughts, that’s human nature. But it’s important to communicate and be upfront so everyone is on the same page. Going behind someone’s back to hurt them to make yourself look better is cowardly and it ALWAYS comes back to bite you in the ass. and if you have that mindset, you do not belong in a team (brotherhood) setting. This also applies to life in general. If we learn to help each other and be there for each other authentically, we all eat. (Hopefully one day I can afford to get myself a bike and get in to the culture of it. My ball playing days are long gone but I sure miss the brotherhood side of playing. I have experienced both sides of this first hand. Life took me across the state the luckily there was a charter where I moved to and I was able to transfer. When I move some of the guys I’ve been riding with for five years flat treated me like I didn’t exist anymore Bc I was no longer riding with that chapter. On the flipside I have real solid brothers that make the 300 mile ride just to have a beer or go And I do the same for them. We had two bikes go down and a pack a couple years ago and one of my brothers is hurt severely. It took him until just a couple months ago to get back on his bike after being fully healed. My brothers came from three states to support him. We pool together and paid his bills and took care of his yardwork and housework and whatever he needed to get right again. Without a doubt I know he would do the same for any of us that’s true brotherhood. Thank you for posting this video I think a lot of people need to understand what it is all about. #GHOSTIN

I just left a club because of this. I’m extremely saddened. Now they are lying on my name so they don’t seem weak, and I won’t talk about it because even if I was done wrong, at the time it was still club business. And I don’t talk good or bad about club business. So when ppl ask them what happen, they say their lies. When ppl ask me I say, “we went our separate ways” and leave it at that.
HooDRidEWhiteY I’ll talk vaguely because this is public. But I fucked up and got behind in dues. Dealing with court on a case, and some other expenses. But I missed my dead line by 2 days. But I got them my dues. 99 didn’t think they would take it that far. But point being I got caught up on dues. But they came to my doorstep to center punch me anyway. It wasn’t the punishment that bothered me. I would have taken a dotted eye over that, but wasn’t the point. As a man, and a brother, I fucked up, I’ll take it. But my “brother, my president “ brought club business, brought club punishment to my doorstep. That’s my castle, that’s where mama feels safe, that’s where my kids lay their heads. My house is off limits. They should have called me out to meet and carry out else where. They brought shit to my house over 30.00 dollars. So I gave them my patches. And told them they have a few minutes to get away from my family. No real brother of mine would have done that. I’m a man first, and respect I give and expect. It hurt my heart. I own my part, but they didn’t need to bring my home into it.
Larry Goodspeed well, hate to say it. Wasn’t the money 30.00 or 3000.00 it was my obligation to make the deadline. I missed it, but it was bringing punishment to my home that was what hurt. I was always taught homes are off limits, especially at a 99. My wife respects me on the streets and knows her place. We don’t pillow talk, she don’t ask. I keep that shit on the streets. But the home is where she and our babies should feel safe, and although it didn’t get ugly, It could have. So why even bring it. I was pissed and hurt.
Erik Santos meeting the obligation is a big deal. But so is supporting your brother when he’s in a situation. If I knew that a brother was in a pinch and working hard towards fulfilling his obligations in both the club and his family, I would have met his club dues for him with no expectation of a repayment. That’s how I see a brotherhood working. But also letting him know to make sure he stays on top of it from there on out. You’re right in saying it’s not the total amount, you saw your fault in meeting a deadline, I commend you on that. You’re also right in saying it shouldn’t have come to your home. No business should come to the home. Mind if I ask what state you’re located? If not that’s ok.

Are usually only ride with a couple of really close friends but I totally see what you’re talking about in larger groups how that can happen so easily. The second bikers realize we’re better together, and clubs/lone wolves work together to fight for our rights instead of each other, our culture will be preserved and much stronger. To be honest it depends on you. Bikes are like women, one chick might be the best chick for one dude and trash for another. First ask your self what kind of riding you want to do? What kind of style do you rep? Does the bike you pick fit your needs, style, and type of riding you want to do.

I remember a brother, long ago,who did all the footwork to start a chapter in another city of a 1%er Club. At that time it was all about Brotherhood, family. Later, when there was avenues of making money, alot of money, there became a power struggle from within. Somehow, this Brother, who had been one of the most loyal members a Brother could ask for, took one behind the ear and was taken out. Something changed before the 90's but in the 90's, at least where I was from, it became a money and cutthroat thing. I'm only talking of one particular Club but it seems that disease began spreading. I would like to start off by saying hello. I love watching your show. It has helped me out so much in understanding the biker world. I don't belong to any club, nor am I considered a hangout with any club. On the other hand, I do have friends who are full pledged members of 1% clubs. I do ride with them, on charity rides. My nephew came to me asking me if he could borrow a few dollars. I never asked him what it was 4 later I found out. It was for his club dues. He did pay me back with interest. One time, he asked me a powerful question. What is trust? What is loyalty? What is brotherhood? What is family? I stared at him. I immediately sat down in my recliner. And I cried holding my face like a 5-year-old with a broken heart. He immediately Got scared grabbed me and started comforting me. I went into the bathroom. Cleaned my face up and gave him my answer. Trust is you believe in my answer, Loyalty and brotherhood, is you coming to my rescue. Family is a loving hug. I told him if you don't feel those. Things in a club, then that is the club that is not for anyone.

Nicely put. That's the main reason, why I don't join a club. I've seen a man run low on funds & the look on his face. I felt his pain, none of his brothers helped him out & did look down on him for it. Sad shit! I wasn't even a member, just a future prospect on a ride with the club to another state. So I paid his dues for him & gave extra so he could finish the ride with confidence & did it in front of all of his brothers. At that point, the ride was over with that club. Happened 15 years ago. Him & 2 other members of that club & myself to this day ride & we ride as true brothers. We paid each other back with trust & loyalty 💯. I don't like a clicks, especially in a club. Love the content.

I just left a club because of this. I’m extremely saddened. Now they are lying on my name so they don’t seem weak, and I won’t talk about it because even if I was done wrong, at the time it was still club business. And I don’t talk good or bad about club business. So when ppl ask them what happen, they say their lies. When ppl ask me I say, “we went our separate ways” and leave it at that.

But I got them my dues. 99 didn’t think they would take it that far. But point being I got caught up on dues. But they came to my doorstep to center punch me anyway. It wasn’t the punishment that bothered me. I would have taken a dotted eye over that, but wasn’t the point. As a man, and a brother, I fucked up, I’ll take it. But my “brother, my president “ brought club business, brought club punishment to my doorstep. That’s my castle, that’s where mama feels safe, that’s where my kids lay their heads. My house is off limits. They should have called me out to meet and carry out else where. They brought shit to my house over 30.00 dollars. So I gave them my patches. And told them they have a few minutes to get away from my family. No real brother of mine would have done that. I’m a man first, and respect I give and expect. It hurt my heart. I own my part, but they didn’t need to bring my home into it.

Larry Goodspeed well, hate to say it. Wasn’t the money 30.00 or 3000.00 it was my obligation to make the deadline. I missed it, but it was bringing punishment to my home that was what hurt. I was always taught homes are off limits, especially at a 99. My wife respects me on the streets and knows her place. We don’t pillow talk, she don’t ask. I keep that shit on the streets. But the home is where she and our babies should feel safe, and although it didn’t get ugly, It could have. So why even bring it. I was pissed and hurt.
Erik Santos meeting the obligation is a big deal. But so is supporting your brother when he’s in a situation. If I knew that a brother was in a pinch and working hard towards fulfilling his obligations in both the club and his family, I would have met his club dues for him with no expectation of a repayment. That’s how I see a brotherhood working. But also letting him know to make sure he stays on top of it from there on out. You’re right in saying it’s not the total amount, you saw your fault in meeting a deadline, I commend you on that. You’re also right in saying it shouldn’t have come to your home. No business should come to the home. Mind if I ask what state you’re located? If not that’s ok.

To be honest it depends on you. Bikes are like women, one chick might be the best chick for one dude and trash for another. First ask your self what kind of riding you want to do? What kind of style do you rep? Does the bike you pick fit your needs, style, and type of riding you want to do.
Just get on a bunch of bikes and learn. I learned age/ experience don’t mean you can’t start on a bagger.

I remember a brother, long ago,who did all the footwork to start a chapter in another city of a 1%er Club. At that time it was all about Brotherhood, family. Later, when there was avenues of making money, alot of money, there became a power struggle from within. Somehow, this Brother, who had been one of the most loyal members a Brother could ask for, took one behind the ear and was taken out. Something changed before the 90's but in the 90's, at least where I was from, it became a money and cutthroat thing. I'm only talking of one particular Club but it seems that disease began spreading. Brotherhood is everything, without that, it's every man for himself. RIP & Respect my Brother, you're not forgotten. Thank you SoS for these videos, they're true and righteous. Much love Brother.

I feel you on that. When my bike went down. I didn't hear from anybody. Not a one person asked if I needed help just. Pay dues for the first three months. Then they just straight stopped contacting me.

In my culture we call it the house person or the field person they are both made to believe they are different because one is seemingly shown favor. When in reality they are viewed the same by those of authority the differences and treatment are to create animosity so that one group blames the other for all that is wrong and they are in a constant state of conflict. there by the people of authority never have to do the work of enforcing their own will and always have the appearance of being innocent and not at fault for anything that happens. This is the way that dogs are trained.The trainer never lets the dog see them directly doing anything to it they just make it seem as if they disobey commands unfortunate circumstances avail the dog....

I would like to start off by saying hello. I love watching your show. It has helped me out so much in understanding the biker world. I don't belong to any club, nor am I considered a hangout with any club. On the other hand, I do have friends who are full pledged members of 1% clubs. I do ride with them, on charity rides. My nephew came to me asking me if he could borrow a few dollars. I never asked him what it was 4 later I found out. It was for his club dues. He did pay me back with interest. One time, he asked me a powerful question.
What is trust? What is loyalty? What is brotherhood?
What is family? I stared at him. I immediately sat down in my recliner. And I cried holding my face like a 5-year-old with a broken heart.
He immediately Got scared grabbed me and started comforting me. I went into the bathroom. Cleaned my face up and gave him my answer.
Trust is you believe in my answer,
Loyalty and brotherhood, is you coming to my rescue.
Family is a loving hug.
I told him if you don't feel those. Things in a club, then that is the club that is not for anyone.

It has been several years since i have ridin with colors since he passed just didnt mean the same i hold his patch and mine stay in contact with the family we will always be family although i ride lone wolf i have found it to be relaxing i show respect to my fellow patch riders but in the long run i just stay friends

Nicely put. That's the main reason, why I don't join a club. I've seen a man run low on funds & the look on his face. I felt his pain, none of his brothers helped him out & did look down on him for it.
Sad shit! I wasn't even a member, just a future prospect on a ride with the club to another state. So I paid his dues for him
& gave extra so he could finish the ride with confidence & did it in front of all of his brothers. At that point, the ride was over with that club. Happened 15 years ago.
Him & 2 other members of that club & myself to this day ride & we ride as true brothers. We paid each other back with trust & loyalty 💯. I don't like a clicks, especially in a club. Love the content.
