Great video but i wouldn't trust kayaks or those floating boats that guy was using. 10 years ago when i lived in nc, i fished that place alot. Had to save a guy who went under pulling anchor in that 30ft. He would have drowned if i wasn't there with my boat. Every few years someone always drowns there so be safe. The small boats go under when pulling anchor in that fast current . It was about 50 yards or so behind where you were. It looks safe but thst back current is actually deep and fast.
That's my old spot. If you enjoy fishing, try umbrella rig there my guy. It is so. Much. Fun. Best catch was two over 14" white bass and a 28" striper, at the same time on an umbrella rig. Of course the fight was terrible though
Don’t remember the name of it but there’s a boat ramp just after the bridge. That’s where I launch, bit of a paddle if you don’t have peddles. Easier to launch on the bank fishing side with the gravel parking lot tho.
🤣 sound like you made money. Swim baits are a easy vay to get them over there, especially the larger ones now that they're eating . Another guy posted a week ago a big school of shad (mid size (4-6") moving up to the wall. It's should get better from now forward.
@@StriperPursuit yup. A friend was there a 1.5 weeks ago and nothing but they moved in recently . Lots of bait with crappie in 15+ ft by the rock field.
Man you were doing great this day!

Those are some awesome whites on swimbaits bro! I'll hit you up when I go to TN on a business trip and we'll have to do a catch and cook. Tight lines.

Wow, that was non-stop action...a combination of White Bass AND Hybrids! What month of the year was this?
Those white bass are pretty good eating. I need to target them more often
They sure are! Go get you some!
I catch them here and there targeting largies and smallies. They're fun to catch and great in the grease
I know this is a old video but if you would. Where did you put your kayak in when you fished the dam.thanks and the video was awesome
