In all seriousness tho, there's a manga My Wife has no Emotion, that it's about a guy who develops feelings for his robot because he lives alone and since robots in this storyline are advanced enough where is hard to draw the line between AI and sentience, characters do question wether this kind of relationship is good or bad for humans as individuals and one argument stands that there are people who just have zero chance to get a partner or their life is such a mess that they couldn't find one even if they tried, so for these people in particular there would be the option to have a robot for a partner programmed to have unconditional love for the owner and it's a weird thin line where this could work even though it's sad but such is the life of few individuals so instead of living them to die alone and depressed we could at least cheat the brain into thinking that there's someone for them, it's a really good read, starts goofy and switches constantly between comedy and serious dramatic moments and it's still ongoing.
