Very interesting how this ball strikes by deflecting and scattering the pins. Lots of mixing action. Thanks for another great Vintage ball video. Would love to see a Carmen Salvino CSI epoxy ball in action.
I used to throw an old Ebonite Thunderbolt Power Core. Best ball I ever threw, averaged 220+ in league with it until the ball cracked. Where can I purchase old school urethanes like this? The modern urethanes are too strong for my liking and the motion I’m looking for.
Dam!!! The only angle I see is the angle of the pins being smashed!! Haha. Awesome video my brother. Dam that's some loud @$$ sounds when the ball hits the pins!! WHO NEEDS REACTIVATE!! HAHA. take care bro. Keep revvin!!
I roll a black and gold Angle every week in my men's league...the two are right at home on the ~80 year old wood lanes my center has. Averaged about 214 last season with 'em! They really open up the lane compared to resin...the fact that you could throw the ball anywhere between the gutter and the 2nd arrow and still strike proves that 😉
Had a funny story about a gold angle. A guy that bowled on my mother's team had a friend die, and the ball was left to him, so he threw it in league, but would struggle with it. People were like put that ugly think away, dude. I think this was like 1991.
I used to throw one in the early resin era as a kid on wood lanes before I got a reactive ball. Had more skid flip than my Cobra on some conditions. However, watching this video reminds me of the way that ball used to carry. I remember some kids trowing Ninja RPMs an Gold Rhino Pros thinking they carried better than me because they were just a better bowler. lol. Reminds me. Two balls you should try and find, and AMF Synbad, and an Ammo. Nobody seems to really know what core and cover make up the Synbad. Some say 3 piece, the others say Sumo core. Then 123 says plastic, but pro shop techs says rubber. A rubber Sumo just sounds awesome. However, I saw Berardi throw it, and I am guessing pancake it is. Seemed to have more bite than the Purple Angle.
Both of those have a pancake in them. The Synbad is extremely hard to find. It acutally is a Rubber Hybrid with Pancake if i recall correctly and the Ammo just a 3 Piece Urethane with Pancake.
Hi amazing video, i have the same ball but i don't use it often because on the lanes where i play it doesnt hook at all. I wanted to know what grit you apply on your ball
@@KingOfTVBowling thanks i do normally use a rhino t2 pro green ball at 2k plus some polish.... one of the first's 14lb reactive balls, seems great and im having fun on playing vintage balls but after seeing this video im going to drill out again the angle
@@KingOfTVBowling I obtained a brand new one! Still in original box. New old stock. Mint. It is drilled up now and I will give it a try. Was just curious if you ever rolled it or how it compared in strength to Grey Rhino or Black U Dot. But since I have both of those balls I guess I will find out myself! 😂
Do you recall what surface was on the ball? I have an angle that my dad gave me and it will kinda snap if thrown slow. (Im a higher speed lower rev bowler)
I bowl with an Angle every time I go bowling! Definitely doesn’t disappoint!
The Music in the background sounds like someone who really likes Dream Theater 🙂
Very strong for an old ball. better than some of the new ones. In or out looks great. Thanks.
You bet

We actually already reviewed the burgundy CSI Hypower , it rolled real similar to the burgundy hammer.

@@KingOfTVBowling Whoops! Totally forgot about that.
When it hits carry down, that thing skids.

Pancake block does the job, plenty to turn the corner and sets up nice when pulled into the track.

@@KingOfTVBowling They have a Synbad on ebay for $25 bad shape though
Needs a good resurfacing and recolor the label
Nice. Where’d you get an Angle from? That’s amazing
Our sponsor Bowler’s Edge supplied this classic to roll. Thanks for viewing.

knowing your equipment is one the most important aspects of the game , people who constantly need new balls have no talent .
How does this Angle compare to the Angle Plus?
Haven't had a chance to roll the Plus yet, definitely looking for one . Stay tuned

This ball a fresh 2k finish , but lane shined up super quick
Haha slide that 6 over Vic 👍
So weird, ive been sliding a bunch of pins there of late. Not sure if the pindecks need some superbright to prevent it. Etc
Are you a full roller?
On occasion I can use the trick of the full roll release on shorter patterns etc. But normally a High 3/4 roller. Thanks for viewing.
As dumb as this sounds, I wouldn’t mind seeing Vic pick some spares with these classic balls.
Spares are my Kryptonite, so I just try to strike more, LOL thanks for viewing.
