- We show you the restoration of our engine bay in our 93 VP Brock Commodore V8 Supercar build. We paint our engine bay in the factory Mobil 1 blue as we get ready to install our new engine and powertrain. Our 93 VP Brock Commodore build is a tribute to Peter Brock and his success in the Bathurst 1000 great race.

Looking forward to the build!
Thanks Slash and hope you enjoy our channel and our builds/antics!
Seeing you engine bay make me feel so much better, i did 3 coats of 2k hi fill primer sanded to 600 grit and was worried it wasn't smooth enough.
Love the speed holes in your crash bar. Looks like something they would have done in 1990.
Thanks Angry, a highly talented Frankie watched a Perkins Engineering video and modified our crash bar. Hopefully Peter would approve!
Can’t wait for these wheels to turn up !!
Happy 18th birthday present mate!
Great work Fred. I'm about to paint my cars engine bay with cans ready for my new engine too
Ah nice one mate. A lot easier to do with the engine out!
Lookin'good Clunie 💯. Such a clean VP 😂👍🇦🇺
G'day mate, yes it's quite a specimen hey!
Exciting, looking forward to more video on this build.
Cheers thanks Jesse!
Looking good so far mate 👌🏻
Thanks mate, we will keep on ploughing on!
@@ClunieGarage can’t wait to see the progress, will be a track monster when it’s finished
@@zachpowe7864 cheer mate! Yes we hope it will be a handful on the track. Might struggle to keep up with our other LS powered track beasts but will look the goods! 😃
Happy bday Fred Jnr, can only assume he’s on the piss
Awww mate there’s a reason I didn’t feature in this episode
Ah yes, Fred Junior did have a night on the town celebrating his 18th. He was well behaved though and came home in one piece!
Did he come home sporting a new tattoo?🤯🤯🤯🤯
Happy Anzac Day mate.
You too mate. A very special day on the calendar. Lest we forget.
@@ClunieGarage happy birthday to Fred jnr too.
🇬🇧 good evening from London. Just found your channel. I have one of the 32 vt2 commodore GTS imported to the U.K. by wilkinshaw in 2000 .
@@hoonaticbloggs5402 that'd the way. Up up Holden. Keep the dream alive
Now it is starting to take shape. No longer the weekly grocery getter!
Indeed Gary, the VPs days of picking up tofu and kale are over!
G'day Fred, you mention something about the VL Walkinshaw Group A wheels you have on order. Did you order the 'Walky' wheels by any chance? I don't think they will suit your build as they come in 20s or 22s. Just as a hesds up.
I think he said they were 18s.
G'day Pedro, no Walky wheels for us - whilst they are staple diet for Western Suburb VL builds, we have opted for a slick friendly 18" wheel. Still the VL Walkinshaw Group A SS style, but in 18x8.
