I agree with the hands. They’re not ‘big’ enough. I’m not a fan of the SKMEI logo on the dial. Nothing on the dial ‘pops’ except for the hands. I’d have to see other color options. The matte dial is a different look and like the way the crystal accents the dial. The lugs and pushers go well with the case design. The dial is just too dark. Hard to read. This watch would look awesome as a panda or reverse. Great review bud. I do like that 6 o’clock date window and of course the red accent second hand.

They do have some other dial colors that would be easier to read imo, I really wanted a blue dial they had, but it was only on a black pvd case so I went with this one. Also took a gamble on green. In the sunlight is where it looks its best. Maybe I can do some shots on IG, lol. Thanks for sharing your thoughts man! 😎🍻👍

Even if it’s quartz, you cant really tell. It looks really good too! Crazy value for money, where can you get a functional chrono at $20??? (it’s actually even cheaper here in the Philippines) I’m a huge SKMEI fan. 😂

Thanks Josh! Yeah the recessed date window and subdials just gives it a bit more texture and contour versus a plain old flat dial. It's no "WISH Tudor" but thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one brother! 😎🍻👍

Chronograph hands slowly sweeps back means it is not a mecaquartz. Mecaquartz hand would fly back to its reset position, and has a mechanical feeling pushers.

I didn't realise Skmei did watches that weren't digital. I have one of their digital ones, which is pretty good for the money. This seems to be the same... A nice little piece for not a lot of money. Good review mate.

@@rangorango7545 hey Rango, so for this particular model I had to buy from AliExpress online. I did a search on amazon to try and find them but could not either. Likely they don’t have any stored in warehouses here stateside so it has to ship from China directly. Sorry about that, but if you are okay with a bit of wait the link in the description will take you to the aliexpress store to buy on there.
That green Dial is really nice looking. Great review bro. The crystal probably is acrylic brother. Digging the red Chrono hand. Keep on keeping on Buddy 🤘🏻
There is a reverse ding on the left subdial above the 0 in the 30. There are also fingerprints on the chrome hour markers under the lens. Looks like a plastic lens. I like plastic. It gives it a vintage look.
Wow you're right I just noticed those dings you mentioned, it looks like it has it on both sub dials. I wonder if that is a true defect or if they all come like that. I may take the dial out from the back of the case some day and clean off those finger prints. But yes, I guess I should not have expected perfection at $20, haha. @@DavidSchwartzjr It's fine. I'm watching on a 65" TV. It's an awesome watch for twice the price. Funny thing. I bought a SKMEI Suunto copy a few years ago. Suunto is a higher end $200+ military grade digital compass/altitude/temperature watch from Sweden. SKMEI made a less functional copy for $15. So there is a dime sized hatch in the back you screw off with a coin to change the rather large cr2032 battery. Great! Except the battery was too big and in the wrong location to fit out of the hatch. And being that the body of the watch was bonded together, you couldn't change the battery. It was a shame. They did a beautiful job copying the look of the Suunto.
I dont think you can argue the value with this one a working chrono for $20!! & its mechaquartz. I have to agree with avg joe about the skmei logo on the dial though needs to be crisper imo, really like that dial colour & the red seconds hand, it wouldn't look out of place on your wrist while cruising in a vintage Jag (Jagwarrrrr in 🇺🇸 😁) Theres a lot to like with this one, well done Skmei! Minutes counting subdial at 9 has incomplete indexes marking. How do you keep track of the minutes elapsed precisely? A lot of Chinese chronographs have this silly misconception
