- Trying ti repair a Hoverboard, but I did not have the spare parts.
They are now ordered in China,,will probably be here in 1½ mounth.
Capacitors of 220uf 35Volt and a Darlington transistor TIP127

My PlayHouse is a channel where i will show, what i am working on. I have this house, it is 168 Square Meters / 1808.3ft² and it is full, of half-finished projects.

If you have a red flashing light on one side and it wont move and Recalibrate doesn't fix it... Check all plugs and wires are getting good connection (Especially the 5 wire sockets). If they are and it still don't move then it probly has a blown output fet on the side thats red. They're easy to change.. MAKE SURE BATTERY IS UNPLUGGED!! Measure the Mosfets, 6 on a heatsink per side(GDS)... Usually only 1 or 2 short... DMM to Diode, Neg on Center pin (Drain), Gate approx +1.5v, Source approx .5v. YST7575C crosses to RU6888R 68v 88a TO220 *** For this model Mainboard, one bank of Fets controls one side wheel drive. Do a continuity test to figure out what bank controls what side.. Each bank of Fets, are broken into pairs per thick wheel drive wire (YGB)..

If you have a constant PSU you can connect it up to the dc in connector and the bad component will get VERY hot, more than likely it will be those transistors tho :)

The board powered up... but when you gave it power it was upside down, when power is applied it does a system check immediately and it went into fault due to all the sensors knowing it wasn't upright

My brand new hoverboard run time is around 25 minutes then it cut off power of board. At full charge it was around 41.5 V and after 25 minutes the battery voltage was only 37.8 V for cut off. Why is the voltage still so high and already there was a cut off the power?
At wat voltage should the board switch off? Any suggestions?
Check if the cells is at the same voltages.
Try to change the flux capacitor, it should work then again...

I have a hoverboard Skymaster 11 double wheels, the board turns on and after a while it stops working, I disconnect plug from batery to electronics. I take multimetr, and there is a shortcut on the electronics. I take schorcut plus with the minus in electronics plug, i take multimetr and i do not have schortcut , after connecting electronic devices it works again, what could be wrong?
I never got this one working :-(
these are prone to catching fire and maybe even discontinued

do you have hi amp lo voltage power supply?i see some car battaryes. get the most powerfull one charge it to full and connect to thing. it will blow up short and you find out where it was ;)or try trace power track... but that's too boring right !?BTW you're in Denmark, right ? i will be at Copenhagen in few days and if you're nearby i might help ;)

it's not about blowing up. It's about finding a point of short-circuit. If you have IR camera same thing can be done with less spectacular "visual effects" If I remember right on eevblog channel Dave got video showing entire process.

At 10:36 , I would like to mention that I've also discovered a similar damage to my capacitor. At that precise location that you pointed out. I tried replacing them but after about 5 minutes of plugging charger in. The capacitor burns up and creates a plume of smoke that doesn't smell too bad. Can you send an email to me or private message regarding this matter?
