SUBSCRIBE! TY for watching! Twice was such a privilege to see LIVE, I highly recommend seeing them if you get the chance! If you've seen Twice live -where did you see them and what was your experience? Let me know!
I have seen their last 2 tours (and going to third next month) and they do not disappoint! Each show was better than the previous. I loved the song roulette idea as it gives them a chance to perform songs that may not get as much shine ("Rolling" went viral on their last tour). With each tour you get to see the girls showcase more of their own individual skills, tastes/styles of songs, and personality. Jihyo's live vocals & Momo's dance solos are no joke. They kill it every time. Like you, I had the same experience both times when it came to buying a light stick. It seems like they only bring a certain amount with them and once they sell out during the pre-sale event, there are little/none left on show day. My ONLY criticism would be that I wish they could perform some of their Japanese songs. Some of them are bangers and would get ONCEs even more hyped, but I can understand why they can't add another 30 min to an already long show lol. Glad you had a good time!
Omg I’m jealous! I bet those were fantastic shows from the clips I’ve seen 😫🔥 Yeah I wish they’d bring more of the lightsticks for people to buy. I can understand putting a “1 per customer” mandate in but from what I’ve heard from people there always seems to be an issue with quantities available. 😫 I wholeheartedly agree. I know Japan can be pretty strict with what gets shown outside of Japan in terms of music but it seems like things have loosened up quite a bit. I would become FERAL if I got to hear BDZ live! Hahaha
@@JonathanMillerMusic I did not know that about Japan. Is it a copyright issue or something contractual? I figured an artist should be able to perform at least their own songs anywhere. I would go FERAL too for songs like BDZ, Celebrate, Perfect World, Hare Hare. I guess for now, I would have to crazy alone in my room watching the Blu-ray of the concert lol
@@goten1183 hahaha same! Omg if I heard Celebration too... I don't apologize for who I become. lol So my understanding is that Japan has some strict laws about "J-Pop" being shown outside of Japan (this can include Japanese K-Pop songs). I believe since the pandemic though and music really becoming much more global, Japan has relaxed its strictness. I know that some artists are contractually obligated to only play Japanese songs within Japan and Japanese speaking territories but I think it depends on each specific contract. Clearly if we are getting "Doughnut" and "Marshmallow" even in snippets now, the rules are relaxing. Honestly I enjoyed hearing Twice sing in Korean, English, and Japanese because it felt like a more accurate representation of their global identity. I hope this continues to happen for more groups!
@@JonathanMillerMusic Thanks for the info! I didn't know Japan was so strict about it. May explain why I see some groups perform Korean versions of their Japanese songs at award shows. Glad to see how global Twice has become, hope they can start integrating more of their Japanese discography in future shows/tours!
I saw TWICE as OT9 last year in Fort Worth, TX and that was the best concert of my life! I had tickets for my sister and I for last night’s concert in Dallas but our father was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday and is still there so we of course put our immediate family first but were at the concert in spirit with our ONCE & TWICE family. Glad you made it to see TWICE and yes health and safety is the most important thing. Also, the K-pop community is so kind, considerate and loving. I’m so glad that my Ult Global Bias, The Goddess Queen Dahyunie and Queen Jeongyeon are healthy once again and my fellow Texas ONCES got to see OT9 in full force! You are VERY correct about the difference seeing Momo dancing on a screen vs dancing on stage right in front of you 😳 Still till this day I bring up how blown away I was by Momo’s dancing live and in concert! She is 100% precision and power 💪💪
I got to see Twice for the first time in Oakland! Definitely had a good time despite my bad seat. Hopefully next time, we both can see the stage better
I was actually surprised how much effort they put into this world tour. I liked their other tours, but this one was different. The company really invested in them big time. The set, stage designs, lighting, wardrobes, performances, the band, backup dancers, energy, fanservice, even the translator rocked, EVERYTHING was fantastic. I've seen every concert uploaded, and they never disappoint. It's fun full of energy, singing, and enjoying the night. I'm so glad you had so much fun. Sending you love and happiness 🩷🧡
I went to SoFi and there was no Candybong/light stick rules there (other then clear bag only), overall venue wise it was pretty good experience but I also didn't try to buy merch (lines were huge) so I can't comment about that. I went wearing Jihyo's (or a version of it) black white jacket from Ready to Be and I was really surprised how many people also dressed up like members in various outfits, it was really cool. If you're a Twice fan I really recommend seeing them in person as they do so much interaction with the crowd and really put a lot of effort into their performances, if you can ball out and get floor seats there's even a chance you can catch their attention (slight brag Tzuyu threw a hand heart at me). Also the soundcheck is definitely worth going too, even if it's just three songs you get to hang out with the members in a much smaller crowd for a bit, higher chance of being seen and more of encore "chill" vibes. Jihyo made my head practically vibrate when she did her bridge for Donut lol, her voice is no joke. I like how each performance is unique with different stand out parts happening. Also I should add in my personal opinion the best seats are floor in front of the push/second stage, Twice spends a good amount of time there walking around interacting with the crowd, the VERY front row for the main stage might be partially blocked if it's raised, and you'll mostly see their backs when on the push stage, though they also do some stuff on the walkway if it's big enough.
You mentioned the holes in the choreography; if you watch past performances, whenever they are missing a member, they almost always leave that person’s spot open and not fill it! But I’m sure that night it looked a little awkward since there were TWO holes in most of the dances! But after watching fancams from various viewpoints from that night; the girls did a great job considering that the decision to pull Dahyun and Jeongyeon was last minute as well! And despite the stage obstructions I’m glad you still had a great time! I still have another two weeks before I see them in New Jersey and Atlanta!
Yes! Very true! I personally didn't care that there were holes, I guess I should've specified that. I mean they lost two members SO CLOSE to showtime so it was absolutely understandable and didn't hinder the performances at all! I bet you will have so much fun at your shows!!
Thank you for your review!! I watched a lot of these reviews for their recent and previous world tour and rarely do they talk about ticketing, merch and venue experiences!! I’m glad you guys enjoyed the show despite all the hiccups and having a seat with an obstructed view!! I also wish they didn’t have that rule where you couldn’t bring other kpop lightsticks/old ver in the venue. Lightsticks can get pretty pricey and as a ONCE, i’d want Twice concerts to be more welcoming to other fandoms/casual listeners.
My pleasure! When I do reviews I try to talk about the whole thing from start to finish (same with like album or song reviews, concerts are just an extension of those.) I know many people wanna buy merch or don't really know how Ticketmaster works, so I hope sharing my experiences helps.
I think there should be rules. It's not like you're performing with a lot of group artists in one concert hall, it's TWICE concert hall. People are so crafty that if other fans come in and interfere with the performance, if they make fun of it...Even if it's a small performance rather than a Dadaikseon, shouldn't it be unique to perform well? You don't have to buy it if it's expensive. I don't think you need to bring it into the concert hall emphasizing that you are a Gujita fan.
I love your comment about health coming first. I know it’s easy to make excuses for idols when they mess up on stage because they were sick or tired due to packed schedules, but I personally would NOT have liked them on stage to begin with. They (kpop idols in general) already go thru crazy diets, I don’t want them on stage when they’re not feeling 100%. A simple, honest statement beforehand would make fans understand.
Right?? That's how I feel! Health should always be a top priority. Will I be sad if I miss a member (or two)? Sure, but I'll get over it! Health should always come first in my opinion.
@@JonathanMillerMusic Very True. Health #1. I know they were both heartbroken to NOT be there, because this was their first time here in Seattle (or Tacoma, take your pick! Lol), but they DID say they will come back. Did you catch the part when Nayeon was talking and she started to cry! OMG its hard to get her to cry but she really felt our love for all of them. And our THUNDEROUS foot stomping started to scare Sana!! We we cheering for so long and would not stop, that I think Nayeon had to tell us to shhhhh hush! Ohhhh dont say that to 18,000 Onces!

@@JonathanMillerMusic i got to my seat at around 7pm after getting a snack and using the restroom. i already knew that the concert would be delayed at that point because the majority of the seats were empty
I was at that show too and I can tell you that vip was an absolute hot mess and everyone was so frustrated! The vip staff were not the kindest and didn’t really answer any of our questions either. But I agree, the show itself was amazing ❤️ i also managed to sneak my tbz lightstick into the show so i had no issues.
I was at the Tacoma concert too! Apart from losing two members + the hot mess at entry time (which Twitter tells me was partly caused by the soundcheck delay, possibly because the two were pulled last minute?), it was sooo much fun! I managed to get a lightstick by showing up around 10am on Friday (show day) for merchandise; the merch sale that day started at 12pm but people had gotten there to camp out since 8 in the morning, which was crazy. (They had quite a few lightsticks available that early, but given how long the lines were even before the booths opened, I can believe they'd sell out fast.) The crowd energy and noise was amazing, I really hope Twice comes back to the PNW! I was so impressed by how clearly ON the mics were; none of the fancam audio really captures how good the girls sound live.
I saw TWICE last in Fort Worth (even though it’s not Dallas). I’m not able to see them tonight (6/21/2023) at Globe Life Field in Arlington (again it’s not Dallas). I’ll be seeing them twice (no pun intended) on both Saturday and Sunday in the Toyota Center here in my hometown of Houston. I, too, would watch them play Animal Crossing, and do a concert from their hotel if all nine them were stricken with COVID-19. 😁😆 I’m still trying to figure out why the venue wouldn’t let older versions of the Candy Bong in. 🤔😒
Oh I bet that'll be really fun!! I hope Dahyun and Jeongyeon will be able to be there. It's understandable if they can't be (at the time of this writing, I haven't heard anything.) I'm not sure why they wouldn't let the older lightsticks in. Let me know if that's a problem in Houston cuz I'm curious to see why the Tacoma Dome said no when it seems like other places are allowing them. 🧐
@@JonathanMillerMusic I really wonder if Dahyun and Jeongyeon were able to watch the concert live in their room that night. I have a feeling they might have
So glad you were able to see TWICE live!! But so sorry to hear about all the shenanigans surrounding the event. The whole light stick debacle is so odd! In Australia people were able to bring whatever light stick they wanted, only that it was limited to one light stick per person! I was under the impression that it is generally pretty acceptable to bring whatever light stick you can to a concert cause it's all about good vibes only!

Hello Jonathan new subscriber here. I love your channel! Keep up the good content! I just noticed that Twice will be doing their 4th Gen Fan Club.....do you know if this will be available for U.S. Onces? I am a new Once so I wasnt around for the other fan club when Twice had them, this is a first for me. But from what I gather on the previous ones it seemed hard to be a member. Could you please do a video about this? Thank you so much!
Thank you!! I honestly have not been able to get into their fan club before so I'm not exactly sure the difficulty of getting in. However, if I find out more I'll circle back and let you know! 💙
I enjoyed your review of the concert. It was funny and witty Mant, who scored 7 out of 9 overall. But I was surprised when I saw the video of the Tacoma Dome performance before. TWICE did 100% better and couldn't feel Dahyun and Jeongyeon's absence. However, the empty space of the dance was a little empty. I don't know if Tacoma is Seattle, but thank you for reminding me. I think I paid a price for trying to enter the concert hall with other fans' candy sticks for not being polite to TWICE fans. There are many people in line, so how sticky it must be in hot weather! Wouldn't it have been more relaxing if VIPs entered the other side at the same time? If so, I feel sorry for the negligence of the subject because I think that other fan cheering sticks would have been found quickly and saved delay time. I also felt uncomfortable because I had been in line, but after watching the performance, I have no regrets and I want to go again. And what's unusual is that in other venues, cameramen did not cover the stage, but in the Tacoma Dome, cameramen were seen standing tall, covering the stage, and it's a pity that they actually suffered damage. This world tour seems to have strengthened Jihyo's presence. He gave me a review, so I had a lot of experience during the concert. Thank you for loving TWICE.
Love your review! Very detailed, and very honest, and very accurate. I had VIP Souncheck and was only 15 ft away from the stage! Had a terrific time, it was my first Twice concert, and first kpop concert. Its too bad we didnt see OT9, but thats why I chose to go to Atlanta. Are you going (Or have been) to any other Twice Ready To Be concert?
The process of going to events (concerts, sports games, etc) has become increasingly annoying over the past 20 years. I remember the days of just handing them a ticket and walking in with virtually no line (for football games with 100k fans). The hassle makes going to the events almost not worth it.
so sorry to hear for all the unlucky stuff. but you got 7 during the queue so the universe had to balance your luck haha. kidding aside, pretty accurate recount. Livenation will always be terrible but everything becomes better once Twice gets on the stage. my favorite part was there title track medley with the band. that was so fun. enjoyed your perspective!

LIVE NATION PH is the worst organizer as from Filipino Once. The ticket selling for TWICE's concert here in the Philippines is so messy. Alot of Scalping (buying tickets and selling it for a 4 times high than the original price without queueing using Bots, the system crashed 1hr after the opening. Alot of Fans already payed the ticket but still no voucher for the ticket (no clarification and confirmation from Livenation and SM Ticket (Ticket organizer) that the fans purchased the tickets, etc.
Oh noooo 😭 we have big problems with those too here. I was super lucky I got into the queue so early. There seriously needs to be improvements to getting tickets because it shouldn’t be like this. I’m really sad to hear that for you guys! 😭
The obstruction is honestly pretty odd as consoles and camera setup is usually done at the very back of the floor behind all the audience at most venues.
@@JonathanMillerMusic Yeah when I saw that too I thought thats strange. And then a HUGE open empty space behind them!! Just think that could have been more Onces there!
I've never been to the Tacoma Dome but it seems like a shitty venue. It seems like the kind of place to watch a monster truck rally. Hopefully they will upgrade on the next tour. Who sang the lines that Jeongyeon and Dahyun didn't sing?

I’m still trying to figure out why the venue wouldn’t let older versions of the Candy Bong in.
I have a feeling they might have
@@johnnyfuture3524 haha it’d be cool if they did!!
I was there at the Tacoma and I saw you and it was the best time of my life and I got four seats and I was VIP I was there at the Tacoma and I saw you and it was the best time of my life and I got four seats and I was VIP I hope you get better Jinyoung Diane
I got to see them in Inglewood a couple weeks back, i got say the vibe and energy at the concert was so much fun. Twice is really worth going to see live
That’s awesome! I bet it was a great show! Did you have a favorite moment?
The lightstick issue was so weird because I think somebody said that in SoFi, all versions of the Candybong can be synced.
Really? Thats so weird! I mean, I hope they could be!
@@JonathanMillerMusic now I'm worried coz I plan to bring all 3 Candybongs. I'm sorry your experience wasn't the best. We're so excited to have Twice here in the Philippines in Sept.
@@TheGusStation Just be careful! It’s ok, like I said TWICE still were incredible so I’m not too sad about it! I hope u have so much fun when they come to the Philippines!! 🇵🇭
Why the heck wouldn't you be able to bring in the Candybong Z?? That makes no sense. Whoever made that decision at Tacoma Dome really screwed up.
@@BrentARJ Yeah. Good thing everyone had a car to leave them in.
TWICE >>>
dynamic pricing was definitely on for the Seattle concert.
😫😫 that’s so frustrating! Idk why it’s even a thing 😡
Thank you for loving TWICE.
great review :)
Thank you!
Im glad you had fun eventho all the bad misshaps that happened to you, the girls are good
Thank you! I'm happy too. It honestly was a fantastic show!!
I heard that seattle onces is the best crowd so far
Honestly, we were LOUDDDD. It was so much fun!
wait till manila
@@endaime26_52 to be fair, Manila has the biggest indoor arena in the world with more than 2.5x the capacity of Seattle, so by default, they will be much louder. But i agree, Manila always has good energy regardless!
@@user-zt7os6zi2r well even in twicelights 2019 at moa arena with an average concert capacity of 25,000. Jihyo said that manila crowd was the loudest and her most memorable tour in 2019
1:00 Jonathan Miller = Twice Jeongyeon look-alike 😁
The highest compliment I've ever received honestly. hahaha
@@JonathanMillerMusic 😁 My pleasure. It's an honest impression from me 😀🤩
*not me thinking the 9/7 was a reference to their origin before remember the news.
hahaha noooooo 😭
💗💝❤️
@@JonathanMillerMusic split of a second and im 30,000th of the queue line
@@endaime26_52 omg noooo 😭😭😭😭😭😭
@@endaime26_52 Same here. I was literally spot on as soon as the tickets went on sale the very second, and Im thousands behind waiting. Insane
The obstruction is honestly pretty odd as consoles and camera setup is usually done at the very back of the floor behind all the audience at most venues.
Right?? That's how I felt. I was so surprised!
@@JonathanMillerMusic Yeah when I saw that too I thought thats strange. And then a HUGE open empty space behind them!! Just think that could have been more Onces there!
@@johnnyfuture3524 Agreed! I wish the cameras had been lower but it is what it is! Still had a great time though! :D
I've never been to the Tacoma Dome but it seems like a shitty venue. It seems like the kind of place to watch a monster truck rally. Hopefully they will upgrade on the next tour. Who sang the lines that Jeongyeon and Dahyun didn't sing?
that obstruction in front of you sucks
Yeah it was pretty unfortunate. 🥲 At least now I know where NOT to get seats! hahaha
I hope you change the thumbnail. It's very unsettling crossing out Jeongyeon and Dahyun. I do love your content though.
Thank you for your feedback! It was not intended to be unsettling. I have changed it!! 🙏🏼
@@JonathanMillerMusic thank you. ;)
