@@lambfactory2537 perhaps you can selectively choose the large pods out of the fallen pods and star growing them. Just like we selectively breed best perforiming cattle or sheep, you can try with plants.

I’d love to hear some recommendations for specific cultivars of locust and whether or not it needs to be grafted.
The unimproved honey locust grows extremely well where I live. Some of them are thornless. None have the giant pods like say Calhoun or Hershey.
