basically while the aria s2 is hitting jenua it made lethal hit so it proc the immortality before the attack ended, thus both aria s2 strip and fairytail for a nightmare can strip the immortality, then fairytail for a nightmare procs it's additional damage, killing the jenua as a result. (hope this help) edit: just for clarification, the strip happens at the end of attack after initial damage calculation so the immortality that procced mid attack can be stripped since it appeared before strip, additional damage is even lower in priority so it procs after the strip.

How did that jenua die in the 1st fight? Does he not keep immortality until he acts?
S3 aria dmg active s2 jenua, and clean immortal buff of him after, next aria art finish him
I think what happened is that Aria S3 proc and stripped his immortal buff at the same time and he just got cleaned up by the initial damage after.
O it was the artifact. It's got a chance to strip and then do the true damage
