For everyone complaining about the price this is very reasonable pricing for its capabilities, This remote is an alternative to that of Control4 / URC / RTI / Crestron / Savant - Its a full automation system targeted at the AV industry, clients with full integrated AV solutions - not your average customer with a few sources, a TV and soundbar. Which is why you need a professional installer /system integrator - this is not designed as an of the shelf Harmony replacement.
This remote is for a specific market. It's not for people / clients that have one TV and a Cable Box / Roku/ Apple TV. This remote is an alternative remote to URC | RTI | Crestron | Savant and the other remotes in our industry. It is meant to be a "Universal Remote" that controls different manufactures. I would have to say from someone that's been installing Remotes for the past 35 years this remote is not overpriced for what it does and has the look and feel of a premium product.
This is seems like a fantastic Harmony replacement...except a Harmony Elite can seemingly do 90% of what it does and Logitech brought it to market for less than 25% of the price. But I understood this is priced completively for the installer remote market along with Creston, etc. It's just not my market.
Actually, per the manufacturer, cinema remote has an 8 core processor...the ava home remote was 4 core. 4 cores is nothing special. 8 cores is huge. Big difference. Cant wait to get mine next week
$1299.00 way too much! Im a tech enthusiast and buy more tech gadgets than I’d like to admit. I don’t think people will purchase at that price. If no one buys it the company will stop supporting it or discontinue it. Looks amazing too much money!!!
This feels like a hostage video. Literally nothing useful shown here just reading off a script. If you can't teach it new IR devices or create full macros then this product is about as pointless as the Juicero
