    Two observations.
    1. In the value-chain segment, when we were validating "Shovel Snow" we can verify examining the statement "To go to the grocery store, BEN needs to shovel the snow". This helps focus stay on the user.
    2. The "obvious opportunities" are all questions related to capabilities. Nothing in the table for needs?
The opportunity table like you mentioned helps refine the capability to "To go to the grocery store, BEN needs the snow shoveled".

Regarding 1: Sometimes the user does the capability. Other times, others do the capability for the user. Good point regarding clarity... "Who is doing what?"
Regarding 2: Some of those questions can apply to needs, but yeah that's an underexplored thing. We could definitely expand!

This really helped me from (passively) consuming information about the technique to becoming active and actually start using Wardley maps. Generally, I consider this transformation as a key process in learning a new skill. Thank you for investing your time into such a concise and action oriented video. :-)

That is amazing. I've started going deeper into maps today and you have explained so much through 10 minutes. It is amazing! Following you on Twitter to get more knowledge around it!

This is great, this is really digestible to me - thank you! I feel like I can easily download these templates and just jump in to it now. One question about the X-Axis (evolution), what is a commodity capability for one country may be very unstable for another, for example to provide water and power. For the X-axis, I guess its safe to assume its authority is not rooted in the world per se, but rather the regions your company operates in? In that case would you have multiple maps for different regions? There are different ways to approach that i guess, was just interested if you encountered this scenario before. Best wishes.

Yeah this can be tricky. Not all locales will match what's possible globally. You have various regions, companies, etc with varying degrees of bias. Electricity may be a commodity, but some countries have more uncertainty, risk, and failure than a commodity would suggest. Sometimes we plot them in a sort of distribution based on how each one is treating the thing. Gives you a sense of how behind the laggards are.
In general we're using maps in order to make decisions. We're not necessarily trying to model the world accurately. So yeah I think it is entirely reasonable to make decisions about whether to compare your organization's bias to the region you operate in rather than globally. But it's still good to know that globally someone out there is different.
And yeah when in doubt, multiple maps are a great way to overcome the variation. But it's all about helping you make decisions with greater awareness of what's happening in the world. So generally if you think it makes sense to do this or that with a map, do it! Just keep an open mind that others in the world might do things differently, and that there might be value in those other ways.
