Dr. Jared L. Cohon delivered the Accidental President in 2008 during his tenure as Carnegie Mellon University's eighth president. Reflecting on his life and career, he believed that the goals and plans that you set for yourself can do no more than prepare you to take advantage of the opportunities that arise. Most important, though, he said, is to enjoy each leg of the journey, no matter where you ultimately end up.
