The final move is peak Cirie. That is one of the boldest moves made in probably all of reality TV competitions, and she’s one of the very few who could’ve pulled it off so masterfully. Her multi-season story arc is amazing.
When Cirie made that final move with the red pouch i was shocked but she proved to truly be the master of this game. Ari could have spoiled her move with a word but to his credit he didnt (watch the recent UK season1 in comparison)
@@EdmundShern i really like to see how Arie try to blow up Cirie cover, but at that poin its was Cirie pion in the end, but i still want to watch it Arie make a move on Cirie.
Cirie did play a very good game but I can’t help but feel heartbroken for andi as she trusted her so much. Quentin took it well but andie didn’t. I couldn’t be a traitor as I just couldn’t do that to anyone. I can’t believe they didn’t guess after arie pulled out as how would Cerie know for sure that arie was a traitor unless she was one too. I do secretly wanted Kate to win though lol even though I knew she wouldn’t
I was devastated. Probably the first time I haven't felt a sense of triumph from a game show win. It was just abject sadness. Seeing the hope in Andi's eyes and the relief at winning, and then... robbed of it. Betrayed. Just... Ugh. Cirie played a great game, obviously. But wow I've never felt so defeated and sad at the end of one of these. I was crying.
Agreed on the challenges. We actually started skipping them after the 2nd episode. Apparently the UK show explains the challenge as more of a break for the contestants as a mental health thing
The UK version was filmed over 24 days with 12 episodes and 22 contestants of which 2 were knocked out immediately only to reappear later in the series. I think the games/tasks part was to stop boredom setting in and provide a challenge to the contestants to face their fears
I agree that the challenges frequently felt longer than they needed to be and not always very engaging, especially if you're binge watching the show. The main thing I appreciate about it which I think maybe is more apparent in some of the international versions is it creates this dichotomy where back at the house there's a sense of division of people at cross-purposes and then during the challenges they sort of come together as one team and I think there is an emotional complexity to that that is interesting.
The biggest flaw with this show for me is that its too easy for the traitors. They have too much control over the game and on top of that significant odds in their favor for banishment. The easiest way to solve this would be to actually provide an incentive for challenges besides just the pot because both parties share that goal. Since they split them into teams in almost all challenges, the winning group should be granted immunity from murder that night or at least have a chance to acquire 2-3 shields early in the game when numbers are high and less so as they dwindle. This would limit the traitors options for murder and also actually increase the odds for smart/strong/deserving players to continue in the game, rather than sheep (andie) or clueless players (Quentin) a ride to the final just because they are likable or bad at the game. It’d also give them a chance to authentically voice suspicions and generate conversations without fear of being murdered that night. Even with this change i still believe the traitors would have a significant advantage, but it would certainly make it more fair, entertaining, and sensible.
Love this show. But it’s very one-sided, putting almost all the power entirely on the traitors side. I feel they need to tweak the show and make it more of a level playing field
I would enjoy seeing maybe one or two new roles for the faithful, to at least spice up the show, because it’s all focused on the traitors which can be very boring, luckily Cirie was the traitor this time :)
Agree. In the game of Werewolf there is the Seer and the Witch. Both charecters would be awesome to have. The seer can see if anyone is good or evil, and the witch can kill or save 1 person in the entire game. That would be fun to add
I think it looked that way because Cirie played such a good game. In the future the faithful cast will likely be more sophisticaded in their analysis of potential traitor. It's not the person you dislike the most or is too sketchy, it's the person who is the most calm cool and collected.
This is a reaction from the UK. I just finished watching the US version. I enjoyed the series as a whole and I am glad it was a positive success. I did feel Kate was very entertaining during the show. Like you said in the video, the show got me interested and invested since the first episode. I was happily surprised by the presenter Alan Cumming, I thought he did a great job on the show. I would stick with having a mix of celebrities and ordinary people on the same show or maybe have two different casts, one for ordinary people and the other for celebrities. I found out just now actually that the second series mainly consists of celebrities. I am not sure how to feel about that.
No one called Ciri? One of those wine moms suspected her in the first episode. They played up drama about whether or not she'd be the second kill over it.
I just finished watching season 1 of The Traitors US. Firstly this was a competition. I don’t understand why these people took it sooo personal. What would they have done in Cirie’s shoes? She played a good game, period.
I like the show but it woukd be more great if winning the challenge means you would be save from banished or getting murder and even getting a clue who the traitor was . The traitor really have control in the game specially recruiting someone late in the game
Cirie was by far the best player. Karen was pretty good. That gut with the blond hair bot bad, but that was it. The rest were clueless! People alliances ?? Wtf? This isn't survivre! Creating bonds?? Why?? Thus is a game!!
I would definitely be on board as long as it’s not obvious hints and just more interesting challenges LOL. I just want a balance that make the challenges mean something
I watched all three seasons, and I enjoyed all of them in different ways. But I have to say that I enjoyed the UK season the most, the players seemed more nice and genuine, which made me more invested in the show. I felt like I didn't care if the traitors or faithfuls won in the UK version as I enjoyed all the different personalities.
I think each season brings something different that everyone should enjoy at least one of the seasons, which is so awesome for an introduction for the show
I definitely think it did, they were able to bring a lot of entertainment by just knowing what they’re doing, and also brought their own drama so it was never boring with Rachel, Kate, Cirie, etc.
I liked the show. I thought it would have been better if we didn’t know who the traitors were so the reveals would have been that much better. Idk just my opinion
it depends for me, it would be much harder to tell a story if you don’t know who the traitors are, but I do like the idea of the audience playing along, which is a reason I like the mole
After watching the three English language versions and the first season of The Dutch version, I would say the American is still my favorite because it is the funniest and the slickest and I think the host is the most entertaining personally. I also like the Dutch version for being so grounded.

it was one of my favorite scenes that ive watched live in reality tv history

A flawless game from Cirie. Bravo!

I hope in future seasons the faithful have more abilities than waiting to get killed
When I know Cirie will be on the Traitor, I immediately pick her as my winner pick. This is what she does best. And gladly she won
it was like a dream, reality tv giving us what we want was amazing

In the austrailian version the shield also protects against banishment
i feel if the U.S did the same thing i wouldn't be as bummed out by it
I liked the show, but I wish we as an audience didn't know who the traitors was also
Cirie is the brilliant mastermind of The Traitors!

The traitor shouldn’t be able to recruit
That was such a dumb moment of the season. I agree with this take.@@gregoryfuller9736

S1E8 may be one of the greatest reality tv episodes I’ve seen

The moment we know Cirie was made a traitor, the others didn’t stand a chance.

So I have an idea where certain challenges give vague hints to who one of the traitors and they stop after a certain point
I would definitely be on board as long as it’s not obvious hints and just more interesting challenges LOL. I just want a balance that make the challenges mean something
Cirie first ballot hall of famer?

Cirie was a cold hearted backstabber
She made the perfect traitor AND winner of the game. Don't sign up for a game show called Traitor of you're NOT willing to lie and backstab 🤷♂️
Did having half of the contestants being reality stars and therefore used to the cameras improve the show?
I definitely think it did, they were able to bring a lot of entertainment by just knowing what they’re doing, and also brought their own drama so it was never boring with Rachel, Kate, Cirie, etc.
I don’t know if an all new cast would’ve hooked me the way this season did
I liked the show. I thought it would have been better if we didn’t know who the traitors were so the reveals would have been that much better. Idk just my opinion

Great show. Uk version even better
the U.K as a whole was better, but Cirie's story was my favorite thing i watched in any of the 3 seasons
The outcome was way too predictable! The vast amount of votes made no sense & bias.
After watching the three English language versions and the first season of The Dutch version, I would say the American is still my favorite because it is the funniest and the slickest and I think the host is the most entertaining personally. I also like the Dutch version for being so grounded.
I disagree on the challenges. I liked that they got to work together.
I love that you enjoyed the challenges, makes the show that much better for you
I would’ve thrown Cirie under the bus if I knew she was coming for me
Would’ve written her name down before announcing that I was a traitor
Was
