Great video 😊
It truly is a great video
Thank you very much
🥳🥳Good Job!
I know it's the mini series, and I do have a Range scanner, but have you tried scanning faces?
Wonder how well would it capture face details.
Thank you very much for this beautiful, wonderful and good content.
I have a question: is it useful in the field of dentistry?
Finally, thank you and best regards.
Thank you. I think it is good enough for scanning dental models, but it is not suitable for intra-oral use. Dental models scan very well as the plaster has the perfect surface texture, they also fit on the turntable.
Я вдячний вам за зроблену роботу .Я маю намір купити цей сканер , я працюю з зубами хвилююсь на рахунок 0.02 мм
Great review! I'm considering the unit for capturing larger things while out and about. You don't think it's suitable for this use case?
No, only really suitable for smaller objects that will fit on the turntable. The Revopoint Miraco is easily the best scanner for mobile use, no leads, self contained, large and small objects. I have a review on the Miraco coming soon.
how good is it with small and THIN objects i want and need to scan action figure armor and acessories from the 80's-90's they are from 1 inch in size to 4 inch size but the wall thickness is roughly 2mm , thats from the back side to the front side 2mm thickness.
some of these have pins and clips .
mostly vintage 80's he man 2 peice body armors and mummies alive and beetle borg armor but would like to do the he man stuff first
It will scan objects with 2mm thickness no problem, the crab shell featured in this video was approx 0.5mm thick. You may need to use scanning spray on shiny or black objects and you may need to use some editing software to smooth some of the surfaces
Jim. Outstanding job! I have the Mini. Is it worth upgrading to the Mini2? I don’t know if they allow trade in’s.
Thank you. The Mini2 is definitely better but not sure if worth upgrading, if you can get a good price for your Mini1 then perhaps it is. The detail and tracking are better on the Mini2. It partly depends on how much you are using it. The latest Revoscan software has certainly improved the performance of the original Mini.
I tested the mini, with very detailed religious antique medals: I found that the result was not very accurate, with loss of detail. What would be the result with the mini 2, according to your tests?
Hi. Have you found out any more about your question. I am also interested in this but sick of seeing reviews and just wondering if they are honest or not. I’ve become very sceptical of videos with no full disclosure. I have an Einscan and it’s good for bigger items, just not tiny items. I also saw the linked video from a guy I know in Australia that does NOT do paid reviews. He is very honest. This may be another option for you…. I’m considering getting one but it has its own limitations … ruclips.net/video/dwRMK9LzBBc/видео.htmlsi=yjyz1ZoVHop5evFr
The Mini2 is certainly better, I have not tried it on coins or medals though. Many scanners struggle with shiny objects
Very nice video. How did it compare to the original mini?
Thank you, it is certainly better than the original mini, you can scan from slightly further away and it is not as distance sensitive which makes scanning and tracking much easier. I found I could scan much quicker and there was slightly more detail
@@JimsonMakes Thanks for the update. I appreciate it.
Do you no longer wood turn?
still woodturning, hopefully I will make some videos soon
