Healing is confusing to those of us who were brought up in churches where they basically convinced us using the Bible that God doesn’t heal. I was taught in Bible college that Jesus only healed to prove who he was! No I don’t believe that. He healed because he came to reveal the Father! The Father loves to heal us!! it’s the relationship he desires to have with us! But decades of listening to Bible lies still sticks in me! I’m renewing my mind by actually getting to know God for myself. He is nothing like they taught me! He is kind and gentle, a perfect Father!!

Joni Eareckson Tada made a huge impression on me growing up. I watched her speak about begging God to heal her and how he didn’t and how devastated she was when people told her it was because she didn’t have enough faith. She concluded that God wanted her to be a quadriplegic. She was very famous when I was growing up and I believed her that it was awful that people told her she didn’t have enough faith and I believed what many told me that God uses sickness.
