I only have 2 kids (they're both adults now), but we take turns opening gifts so that everyone can see what they got. My parents started a tradition when we were young, that we couldn't open our stockings until after Christmas dinner. I have done that with my kids too cuz I loved that tradition ❤ They finally opened their stockings around 7pm. They could have opened them earlier, but they wanted to wait. There are 7 kids in my family. Imagine all the gifts!! My parents always helped us younger kids take toys out of the packages. It was absolutely nuts! But, I loved our Christmas's so much & I cherish all the memories.
All the work, thought and preparation that goes into Christmas and it goes so fast even slowing it down. We do the watch each other open presents to savor the time and gifts. I am always sad when it’s over. Thank you for sharing your family’s Christmas morning! ❤

I spent Christmas at the hospital with my one of my brothers and his wife because our mom had her liver transplant. At one point in the video, I thought you were one of your kids until you said you were the one holding the batteries. Your kids really keep you young and I'm glad you're trying to hold onto family time as much as you can. MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family.
Connor is so hilarious playing Santa:) Loved seeing the kids opening their gifts- their reactions, and how much they enjoyed their presents. I'm with you on slowing down, and enjoying it all. Glad you all had a wonderful Christmas!

We do the same. Take turns starting with youngest 1st. That's how my parents did for my sister & I growing up. It's the little things for me.

In our house our kids get up, once everyone’s up we don’t wait for breakfast! 😂
