When you fight with the guys to light the cores in this section, there is a highly reverb version of the Shining in the background. Do you have it?
yeah! i will upload it tmr.
Belle's vocals should have come in earlier at 1:33 instead of 1:34, it sounds offbeat and out of sync with the instrumentals
It's not necessarily wrong. Belle coming in on the 2nd measure of the chorus instead of the 1st narratively depicts the spur-of-the-moment. And while it sounds like it's out of sync due to Belle repeating the same notes, I would say it's actually employing the "melodic ostinato with harmonic variation" technique for lack of a better expression for this( I am using the term "ostinato" here lightly because I don't consider the "la la la" singalong an ostinato). Even if the notes Belle sings are repeated E F G on the 3rd beat of measure 2 over Am7, it is harmonically still sound. E F G are all part of Am7(with F being a passing note).
@@azorailke6057 While E-F-G over Am7 is harmonically fine, however the underlying chord changes tries emphasize a strong downbeat, combined with the vocal line that comes in late, it sound out of sync with the harmonic rhythm (purely objec†ive)
This is a rhythmic placement issue, not a harmonic one. What I mean is that this version differs from the original mix, as it feels late compared to the rhythm i expect it to sound
@@kotjienkterbang read the first two sentence of my reply.
@@kotjienkterbang I've explained it in the first two sentences of my reply. I'll expound on it. The situation was dire: the Starloop stage was on the verge of crashing. Astra Yao was desperately singing to power up the harmonic core used to power the thrusters of the Starloop stage. Everyone was at a loss. Then came the chorus of Shining-Belle had an epiphany to harmonize with Astra's singing, rousing the entire crowd to sing along to further power up the harmonic core. It wasn't planned or thought out beforehand. Belle hadn't predicted or anticipated that she'd be able to come up with the idea-she had the epiphany mid-chorus. Does that make sense to you?
Musically, out of context, it sounds jarring-no doubt about that. But given the context, I'd say it was completely appropriate-better this way, even.
@@azorailke6057 what??? im not even protesting the music, what im saying is that it sounded different with the official one
