"OK, nobody use their AK-47s against this guy, especially at long distances! Just keep chasing him and the landmines will do their work. Trust me." -Russian General
"He is killing too many of us, with his knife. Deploy the helicopters." "...WHAT? Of course I don't mean the good helicopters. Those would be overkill. I mean those small helicopters you can bring down with a well placed knife cut."-Russian General
You'd think that Uncle Sam could maybe afford to give you a little more than a kinfe with his multi-hundred billion dollar per year defense budget...but no.
"I don't care if land mines are supposed to be buried underneath terrain to avoid detection. Put them on plain sight on concrete and asphalt. I'm sure the intruders won't see it and jump over them" -Russian General.
Also, it's a well-known fact that the ONLY way to destroy nukes without launching them is to repeatedly fire grenade rounds at it, and don't worry about the impending explosion: just a casual running away will do.
The entire Russian army couldn't stop one American commando, even with their well-trained jump-kicking soldiers in red sweat pants. America: fuck yeah.
Classic 80s American, f*ck yeah! Between this, Red Dawn, Fire Fox, and so many other things it's no wonder we thought we were just naturally better than the USSR. 😉
It would be about time we had a new Rush n' Attack (2015) : Ukrainian constitutionnal crisis, russian-backed insurgency, not-so covert russian military invasion.... the table is set. Come on, Konami.
Sorry man; definitely tool-assisted. There's so many times you're touching guys and not getting killed. I remember this game being such a bitch because the slightest touch by any guy ANYWHERE resulted in instant death. Good to see how the full game looked; I think I only got to the end of the 4th level when I played as a kid. Looks like the end boss is a cakewalk.
Memorandum to Brigadier-General Mikhail Bryzgalov: Sadly, our focus on distance running, endurance training and leaping kicks has not yielded the intended results.
I could never get past the second phase of that game. Never occurred to me to just keep running. I didn't even know you could strike backwards mid-jump like that. Some of those moves where you're dodging soldiers from both directions, and skipping mines and not dying once is pretty awesome. Thanks for putting this up.
I loved the arcade version better I used spend my saturdays playing it I never did care for the NES version it’s just different and switching up the battle areas I didn’t like IMO.about the only thing I liked was the music
Great game and I enjoyed it back in the day (still enjoy it now!) but yeah your're clearly using some kind of cheats for it but that's besides the point as we all got to see the final levels/ending etc...Clearly the NES might be the very best version around..For anyone interested, try the remake version of this game called "Red Forces", it adds 3D like graphics on a 2D playing field with everything enhanced while still retaining that classic look/feel, you won't regret it if you luv this game.
Yes, it was apparently also called Green Beret on the ZX Spectrum and in the original arcade release. But was later re-titled Rush'N Attack to appeal more explicitly to US cold war era jingoism for console and arcade (re)releases.
Idea : Start 2 player game, let blue guy die, play as red guy. (You can cut out that part) You start each stage a few steps closer to the goal, right? Just an idea, watching this video kept my heart racing.
Just another day for the Rush'n military. I guess back then soldiers were composed of one of three jobs. The guys that run straight, the guys that jump kick, and the guys that have a potato gun with one potato.
I never realized this....but..... Imagine how much REAL DOG BLOOD there would be if you stabbed 24 German Shepards and 5 humans near a real submarine! IT WOULD MAKE KILL BILL look like a Pillow Fight! Think about it!
in Soviet Russia, this game call Green Beret. And i really thought that the right name is Russian Attack. I from Russia, but i loved this game so much. i walked thru it with turbo joystick
Was finally able to beat this game on my modded xbox by saving my progress every few seconds... you did it, one turn, no power ups, no damage, while running straight through....kudos!
So this is his morning exercise through out the day? Run like hell without getting tired. After that, run again and run some more. Boy what a marathon!
I got past level 2 once and that took all the patience I had for this game. I gave up and can see I made a wise choice. I would never have beaten this game.
Holy way back machine...I remember this game was so hard and I don't think I ever passed Level 2. I was probably 6, but ya that game was my nemesis.
"OK, nobody use their AK-47s against this guy, especially at long distances! Just keep chasing him and the landmines will do their work. Trust me." -Russian General
"Can we send out a SOP that we don't bring rocket launchers into the missile solo?" - Russian General
"He is killing too many of us, with his knife. Deploy the helicopters." "...WHAT? Of course I don't mean the good helicopters. Those would be overkill. I mean those small helicopters you can bring down with a well placed knife cut."-Russian General
hawaiidispenser bị
we only do it on the 360 of this game -Russian General
Lol good stuff bro
For the people that haven't played this before, I am impressed by his jumping skills simply for the fact that you had to press "Up" to jump!
The sound track is awesome
You'd think that Uncle Sam could maybe afford to give you a little more than a kinfe with his multi-hundred billion dollar per year defense budget...but no.
0:40 the guy in yellow made the correct choice..
Shuo Li 😂😂😂

*The smartest officer alive*
"I don't care if land mines are supposed to be buried underneath terrain to avoid detection. Put them on plain sight on concrete and asphalt. I'm sure the intruders won't see it and jump over them" -Russian General.
if i dont get up he migh not see me... ... ... shit. yellow/pink/brick (vary on your tv) soldier

You've found our weakness--small knives!
I used to try that running technique
Failed everytime never could beat this game)
This was amazing... nes super controler
Classic! Decent soundtrack as well!
dunno if u r using any program for this, but its the toughest game of its time. If u stop anywhere u r gone.
on the first board.. the arcade version forced you to blow up the three land mines with the bazooka.. you couldn't jump over them.
Ana Castellano Yes you could. ..
This is great man, such a hard game remember like today :)
I like how they play different kinds of nations song
He atacc
He protecc
But most importantly ....
He runs like ass
LOL Damn Nice Vid!! This Game meant alot to me back in 1985... One of the first Games you Got to Team Up with a friend!
Land mine:working on intruder, not working on russian soldier
Also, it's a well-known fact that the ONLY way to destroy nukes without launching them is to repeatedly fire grenade rounds at it, and don't worry about the impending explosion: just a casual running away will do.
I still play that in November2015
using a turbo controller and game genie on a rom do it legit bro
The entire Russian army couldn't stop one American commando, even with their well-trained jump-kicking soldiers in red sweat pants. America: fuck yeah.
mine is also modded but don't got some of my fav games
like this one!
I need a mod chip like yours, you better not have Blaster Master too
Had this on NES when it came out, and man think I managed to beat the game a total of 1 time hehe and this was some real rushing, also killer music!
run.....run.....rocket launcher...mmmmmerica
It's actually hilarious that you can literally go straight through enemies in certain situations. :o
holy shit dude :O
wow, amazing grenade at 7:45. When I played this game on the NES, I remember getting stuck at level 3. I loved the bazooka in the game though.
lol @7:45 like a boss
I remember playing this game with my friends and cousins in 87'. Loved the music to it :-)
Classic 80s American, f*ck yeah! Between this, Red Dawn, Fire Fox, and so many other things it's no wonder we thought we were just naturally better than the USSR. 😉
I thought it was hard too, when all you have to do was keep running..
And we were dazzled by the graphics and the richness of the y-axis gameplay.
It would be about time we had a new Rush n' Attack (2015) : Ukrainian constitutionnal crisis, russian-backed insurgency, not-so covert russian military invasion.... the table is set. Come on, Konami.

This game was very hard when i was 7 years, now it is much easier but i still play not as well as this video
this was the first game i ever played as a kid aside from playin in the dirt outside...somethin about this game screams freeedom!
Thanks for making this video. However, I think you might have used cheat-codes while playing.
Kick ass! Must have the nintendo controller with the turbo button so you can slice a million times a second...I know that's how I beat the game!
2018?
I barely get ten steps into level two
felt more interesting when they remastered this game and had the Dog Trainers pointing at you, then the dogs running.
Guuau mucha habilidad para jugar! Saltar y atacar lo voy a intentar nunca lo pude pasar es muy dificil. El hombre que corre mas jaja

'All six bases gone. By one man? How is this possible?' 'Sir, he had a knife.'
So this is his morning exercise through out the day? Run like hell without getting tired. After that, run again and run some more. Boy what a marathon!

classic game and music I listen that song very time in Gym. :D
@mckendo83
LOL, that's why I'm also wondering about it. There is also some NES games with similars sound effects with Contra NES. ^^, XD
i accually finished this game, It took so long too, so tough, these games really made ya work to beat them. good stuff, good memories
The best video game simulator of long-distance running and occasional stabbing.
So it's like you're a Japanese or American Special forces soldier attacking Russia but it's called Russian Attack? I never got it.
Very impressive and a joy to watch! This makes me miss my childhood, though my play wasn't nearly like yours back then.
What new controller do you use? Please tell me. Thanks! Your very good at this game!
0:41 Holy shit. Dem skills.
I share that same thought with you.
I don't think its playing by a human at all, its some kind of bot
yeah i have to agree, there were some extremely bullshit situations where he was getting hit, by one nice ass playthrough :)
Either you're a God, or you've played this game so much you just know when whos gonna do what.
Either way well played.
I still play this memorable NES games
you don't have to jump to kill the jump-kickers.
I feel I must point out the Blue uniform is that supposed to mean this American Soldier was on a UN mission here :)
You know, this is exactly why the Soviet Union fell apart.
How you say?
Our cross country running dominance.
It's that leon fucking kennedy?
Botting
Ah the memories I have in this but I never passed level 2
And they said contra was hard...
This game makes contra look like frogger.
I think that he would not hide from the explosion of the intercontinental ballistic missile in the final level
Wow...i mean wow..i was so young..maybe 6 or 7..this has to be 86 right?
This guy makes Bill R. and the guy from ninja guiden look like carebears.

lol
completed it as if u were the creator of the game!
after 19 years i finally know how it ends! Thx!
love the music! Lol I sucked so bad I could only get to the 2nd level
Hiç oynayan Türk yokmu laa 🕊️😭
Gorbachev bought me here. Thought he died long before 2022!
Are you sure this isn't TAS? Anyway I only got through the 3rd stage of this game, it's fucking hard!
I just hate that this game only gives you a knife as a primary weapon.
i remember when i was younger my brother could do the same thing and beat this game without dying
I always thought the attack man looked like he's dress like a coal miner.
how come you cut out the part that says, "you have saved the world."
Great game?? It's so monotone, even watching paint dry is more fun.
That's great, except u hacked your way through the whole game. But thanks for the memories
I could never make it past the helicopter bomb guys. Thanks for the video man!
i pronounce as Russian Attack ;/
very cool. played it when was young on the nintendo
